Always nice to see non-blacks telling Blacks what they should think is racist. Old habits are hard to break I suppose
About the scene, of course it's racist. Furthermore, why when he has the opportunity to work with a black performer was the first thing that popped into Ryan Madison's (guy who does the scenes) head "hey let me do a slavery themed scene, that's perfect!"? The other non-black performers on the site don't get put in those sorts of racially offensive scenarios.
I guess old and primitive beliefs are still around.

I wrote a scathing review of CUM BANG 6 where I was just as tough on the female talent as the nimrods responsible for that garbage. I know Skin has made one of those Cum Bang scenes and if it's anything like the crap on 6, I would be more pissed at her for doing one of those than for doing this particular slave thing for Pornfidelity.

Let me spell it out for you, since you continually express racist views while hiding behind a language barrier. The advertisement for the scene, is not part of the scene itself. According to Pornfidelity, the makers of the film, after the film was made they are selling the scene as white supremacy and publicly defining the scene as white supremacy.

I am expressing racist views? hiding behind a language barrier?
I just can't see how a dead man can be in supremacy of anything , that's all
I'm not a member of that site,I already said this, I didn't see the scene nor the advertising and I just repeated what Skin said in her twitter , she accepted the scene because she killed the man.

You responded to and quoted my post, which quotes the Pornfidelity website billing the scene as white supremacy (originally posted by Mr Right). If you did not see the scene, then you would defer to what you obiviously read to be what the makers of the scene say the scene is, white supremacy. So you, LCF, are a liar, doing so to mask your racist behavior.

so either I share your view or I'm a racist and a liar, is that so?
Also as you say you think an advertising is equal to the truth , I learned decades ago that advertising and real products very often (you can say almost always) do not match.
if there is a lie it might be on the adversing
I thought this was a given, so when you talked about the advertising I pointed out the real product.
Anyway if you rely so much on advertisings take a look to some given by any used car seller , you'll be surprised , or soon parted from your money.
I admitted I didn't see the scene, did you?

You, LCF, made a racist statement about a scene you admittedly did not see, but you intentionally ignored what the makers of the scene say, just because it does not support your racist statement.
Pornfidelity is marketing the scene as white supremacy.

I made no racist statement whatsoever
and I don't find the advertising racist that is called PLOT , you just change the words Skin is (clearly referred to a scripted role BTW) and substitute it as Skin plays and the same for the owner and you have a story , being porn she of course like the dick otherwise would be a rape, it is actually as in fact the situation is defined as "abusive".In the end Skin resolved her doubts and killed the owner.
Also that kind of doubt is the same in many cases of abusive relationships between a man and a woman , in all kind of relations single race or mixed and is not even always related to man abusing woman, it is when a dominant abuses a bottom as the role in a BDSM flick or actual relation
Maybe as you stated before there's a language barrier , but really I can't see how you see any racism in it.
I mean if you play a role in a southern State during slavery how would you depict the relation between a black and a white?
How can you put a sexual intercourse if not abusive? at that time there was no equal relationship possible between a white and a black , not even for freed blacks , it was socially unacceptable.
this is history I believe, not my personal view
Did you find Django Unleashed as a racist movie?
There were a number of people playing and talking as abusive owners , even Django was going to buy back is wife as originally planned, not to mention when he killed an escaped slave under a tree.
I ask you again did you see the scene?
If there's any racism then explain to me why , perhaps more than a language barrier there's some cultural one , I'm not only white, but a European one , we had no racial slavery here , when there were slaves in Europe they were of our own kind ,mostly criminals sentenced to that or war prisoners as we were enslaved by our enemies if taken prisoner by them.
Maybe I'm just less sensitive as you are on the matter

You, LCF, admit you do not know the history of racism in America, you are not American, you make racist statements about a scene you have not viewed, you ignore what the scene's makers say about the scene, only to make racist arguments with Americans.

What EXACTLY is my racist statement? And most of all if any why is it so?
And what is the false or ignorant statement about racist history I made?
I ignore what? you quoted what they said and still I can't fail to see any racism in it.
and what racist arguments I made with Americans?
And you're still avoiding the answer , did you see the scene?
I ask because there are some in this very thread who didn't see the scene as racist and some are blacks and Americans

You ignore that Ryan and Kelly Madison have worked with a number of other black performers for PornFidelity before, in scenes and scenarios without references to slavery and which did not get any attention for being racist. So obviously "Hey let me do a slavery themed scene" is NOT the first thing that pops up in their minds when they work together with black pornstars. (Yes, that one particular scene could still be racist; but that particular argument against it is flawed IMO).
The reasons why the Madisons chose it now can be guessed: riding on the waves of the "Dango Unchained" success, plus the wish to do some more extreme stuff, non-consensual, SM sex. Because both these things are popular and sell, they probably thought (I think they are right about that). Commercial reasons.
Of course, they're playing with the "racism" theme for commercial reasons too: they want to be controversial, since controversy sells. Nice marketing strategy.

This is from an AVN.com article and quoted from PR material; I'm quite sure, so it shows how they wanted to present it: "Get My Belt comes as a two-disc DVD set and covers controversial themes like captivity, fleshly desires vs. religious values, water BDSM and even slavery. Ultimately, everything leads to the sexual fulfillment of both participants.
Chanel Preston, Brooklyn Lee, Chastity Lynn and Skin Diamond star in what may be one of the most controversial movies of the year."
So Controversy is definitely what they wanted. One can argue that this is a morally questionable tactcs by itself.

Could you please link there where they do that? Is it in an ad? Press release? An interview?
Do they explicitly say that, like "You white supremacists are gonna love this!"? Or more implicitly?
I just searched AVN.com and xbiz.com but I couldn't find it in the news that are related to "Get my Belt" there. Maybe I was searching wrongly? The website getmybelt.com also doesn't market it that way.

^ bootymeister I think things are getting out of hand here. I think LCF genuinely doesn't know where he's going wrong, and instead of explaining it to him you just keep calling him racist and a liar.
Remember that it is difficult for outsiders to understand sometimes, because as LCF points out, there have been American blacks in this very thread saying that the scene is not racist, and others saying that it is.
As a result it seems like a lot for us to expect outsiders to understand, when apparently even we can't agree. Please dial back the insults.

I guess I need make my stance a bit more clear at least...I'm black. Yeah, the scene is a portraying a racist scene. Do I think the people who wrote or put out the scene actual racists? No. Do I find it offensive? No. Is it controversal? To me "no" but to others apparently so. Do I think it's an over-raction? Yes.
If this had been the exact same scene with an all white cast no one would've cared in the least. It seems that some people tend to judge anything with black people in it with a different set of rules. If you ignore the color of the performer and treat everyone equally you should be more offended that a woman (of any color) is being treated in such a manner. I don't see why because the girl's skin is black it's suddenly a more horrible unacceptable thing. After being on this site for awhile it becomes quite clear that many of you have your own set of rules how blacks should behave or be portrayed or what's even considered 'black' and porn should only show blacks following your own made up set of rules.

Those whips have killed. At the very least, those whips incapacitate the victim. To suggest that a black slave would crave a white man's cock after suffering that kind of brutality, is seemingly the most extreme statement possible that white supremacy is the natural order.

And no one in the thread who has asserted that the scene is "racist" has yet taken up my challenge to look the word up in the dictionary and then explain how the scene is racist. (No, saying that it's "clearly" racist, or "obviously" racist, or "of course" it's racist, is not an explanation. Those are phrases you use when you can't defend your position.)

The scene is doing what exactly its supposed to do. Create controversy & discussion. Sometimes we crave things that are dark and edgy, this scene achieves that standard. I think it takes real courage to highlight the past & interweave into a porn scene.

That's because it seems everyone has their own definition of the word "racist". I personally think the word is used too freely here and often tossed out when it's preceived that someone simply doesn't like black people or shows blacks in a bad light. It one of those strong words that has lost it's power because it's used so often in wrong way.

Wrong!

No one answers to him because he is weak minded and responds in fear, originally early trying to stifle the OP and most recently in response to the post below.
Mr Patel is defensive and fearful. Of course, I made the perfectly clear assertion that this scene is a racist endeavor obvious to anyone capable of applying the meaning the word. Get some balls and address the definiton your damn self!

Relax! Find someone to talk to. This is just a discussion about an attention seeking, tacticly racist, unimportant porn scene that seemingly no poster in this thread has viewed or will view.

Using the word racist, when racist is the OP topic, scares you that much? Wow!!! Sorry to aggravate your placebo syndrome.

OK again, let's calm down in here.
Harri no one owes you an explanation of anything. If people are going to expect you to understand their anger however, then yes, they ought to clearly state the problem. In this case, no one is depending on you understanding anything. So find your own definition of racism and/or clearly state why you think the scene is/isn't racist.
bootymeister again please tone down the insults. There's nothing wrong with discussing this scene, which clearly even the makers knew would be controversial given their description of the DVD, but controversy does not have to equal abuse of other forum members.

I'm not Jewish, but there's something in me that screams antisemitism is wrong. If Skin Diamond were Jewish and he a Nazi, I would find that replusive.
I'm not gay, but there's something in me that screams homophobia is wrong. If Skin Diamond were a Lesbian and he a homophobe, I would find that repulsive.
So, I also can't understand how anyone who knows how fucked up the American form of slavery was, and how it fucks with Black Americans' psyche to this day, could look at that clip and not come to the conclusion that it is racist as hell. There are a million ways to evoke a power dynamic; they didn't need to go there.
I can't stand people who, by any other standard, are sociopaths but say that since they have a right to do it (and I agree that they do), that somehow makes it OK to do it.

^Of course racism and antisemiticism are wrong. But we're not talking about real life here. We're talking about a fucking porn scene! It's not real. What don't people understand about that?
But since we're on the topic of racism, I have to wonder how many of the people who have such an issue with this scene also have an issue with the real-life racism that regularly occurs in the porn industry, such as all the companies that refuse to hire black talent or production crew, or all the white female performers who are allowed to openly refuse to work with black talent, etc. I have more of a problem with these things because they're real, and are examples of legitimate discrimination. I couldn't care less about a fictitious porn scene in which the performers are only acting.
When Ryan Madison and Skin Diamond came together and decided to do a porn scene, I have to wonder if they ever expected that it would result in an ADT riot. As I've said before, people just take this shit way too seriously. But ironically, the real-life stuff that should be taken seriously is the stuff that no one has a problem with. Go figure.

Actually it has been done but not in porn , it was a mainstream movie starring Dirk Bogarde and Charlotte Rampling , directed by Liliana Cavani : The Night Portier.
and it was far worse than the porn fidelity scene
Rampling played the role of a Nazi Lager survivor and Bogarde a former SS officer in her very Camp.
While in the Camp the man sexually abused her in many ways , dominated her pointing on Aryan supremacy.
Years later long after the end of the war , she meets him again working as a portier in a Hotel , you may think she would expose him and take revenge, but it's not she willingly submits to him once again putting him on top over her.
the movie wanted to explore the misteries of sexuality and the director wanted to put in it an impossible relationship the woman is not able to get rid of.
So she not only recognized his supremacy but did it willingly only for sex.
I don't think anybody would dare to do such a scene today

Patel doesn't understand the issue, or doesn't want to. Furthermore as killbill said no one owes him an explanation given his obliviousness to the offensiveness of the very concept of the scene.
Because why even cook up the idea of a black slave/white master fantasy for a porn scene in 2013? It shows just how racially backward the people who run that site are.

I have no doubt that they were hoping for exactly that type of thing (well they may not have thought about ADT specifically, but forums in general), given the press release language for the DVD it's on, which was posted by Quorrl earlier in the thread:
"Get My Belt comes as a two-disc DVD set and covers controversial themes like captivity, fleshly desires vs. religious values, water BDSM and even slavery. Ultimately, everything leads to the sexual fulfillment of both participants.

What is so different when a white girl does those scenes Hush Hush by saying the N-Word or doing those Dogfart scene like BOB. No one doesn't complain bout that but lot of people who like IR love those scenes. It the same with the CumBang were a bunch of white guy wearing confederate flag t-shit.

my original question was asked because i think gender plays a bigger part than race. if kagney linn karter dressed in a klan outfit tied up wesley pipes and forced him to fuck her it wouldnt be a racial issue because deep down society still feels westley has the upper hand because hes the male.

A pornographer, in an act of questionable taste, piggy-backs on a Hollywood movie to shoot a slavery-themed porno in which a white performer has rapey sex with a black performer.
Outrage ensues. The "clear" and "obvious" "racism" of the porno ("of course it's racist"!), the "offensiveness of the very concept" of it, the "backwardness" of someone who would even "cook up" such a "racially offensive" thing as a "slavery themed scene" in the year 2013, are roundly condemned by multiple parties.
Fast forward nine months.
Another pornographer, in another act of questionable taste, piggy-backs on another Hollywood movie to shoot a slavery-themed porno in which white performers have rapey sex with black performers:
12inchesaslave.jpg
And the response from those who claimed to be so offended by the first porno is . . .
Crickets.
Gosh, I wonder why?

I will admit that I never saw the skin scene and have no plans to ever see it, when I found out the theme of the scene I wrote it off and said HELL NO I am no watching that, I said the same thing when I found out about this movie, there in no need for me to see this . Hell I am offended by all the hyper racial porn themes and stereotyping involved in IR porn which is why I never view or buy it even if it is one of my favorite performers. I face all that in my everyday life when I want to escape from all that I don't need it thrown back in my face when I am watching porn. In these two cases using an institution as horrible as slavery and pushes me away from porn (at least American porn) and frankly I find it sad that people need such themes to get turned on. But hey I am just one person and that my opinion I don't speak for all black male IR fans.

I'm also a black porn watcher and watch very little IR porn for the same reasons. I'm not stupid enough to think there isn't rampant racism in porn, but I tend to believe the girls who say they won't do it because they don't like the stereotyping. I don't like the stereotyping and don't identify with it.
One of the hottest scenes I've ever watched was one with Sean Michaels and Anita Dark in Sodomania 20. No stereotypes, not much talking, but really hot (and dare I say, classy). I'd watch more IR if there was more of that.

Looks like the most offensive things about "12 Inches a Slave" are the title and the box cover art. A quick perusal of the scene previews indicates it's a pretty generic IR movie.

I'm not a big fan of Skin Diamond. I'd like the scene better if they replaced her with Teanna Trump.
