It all depends on your environment, choice of life, and encounters and a bit of luck anyway. Lot of girls "lose" more going into porn, lot of other girls win more and are happier than they could have ever hope. Some girls are shamed by family, others are supported by family and friends. Some girls regret losing love, etc, others love to bathe in a "no feeling" world of money and fake praises and popularity.
Its not a good or bad business, but as she said its risky.
All in all the real problem is trash people using you for your status or blaming you for your status when they fap to you or have worse dead bodies hidden in their closet...
It's far more nuanced than the article suggests. She talked about the very real problems, and she said it's not the right thing for many people. But she never suggested that she regretted the choices she's made in her life.
She must be the most prolific and greatest starlet of all time. Whilst she is very pretty, she is not, for me, at the very top of the tree in looks, but her body of work in immense. One of the greatest and one of my faves.
Quite a sad piece. For the record, I have no issue being in a relatioship with a pro/starlet, but obviously my view is a minority view at the macro scale.
^Are you in a relationship with an active performer right now because if you aren't then you can't credibly claim that. I can understand being in a relationship with a past performer but an active performer whose job is to have unprotected sex with strangers who may (likely will) give them an STI which in turn she will give you or you will abstain from sex until she is no longer infected is hard to swallow. Even dating a past performer is likely an issue because I somehow doubt that in a social gathering where guys are commenting on having masturbated to your girlfriend is at the very least awkward.
I suspect most performers are stuck at dating other performers because they each do the same job and yet it wouldn't surprise me that jealousy is still a big problem because we naturally don't like to share. As for family dynamic. I can't imagine it's easy for parents to accept that their son or daughter has sex for money and that anyone with a computer and internet access can see them. I doubt parents of performers brag to their friends and neighbors that their child is a porn performer and I doubt siblings enjoy the fact that their friends know their brother or sister is a porn performer.
To clarify, I am simply saying that I'd have no moral objection to dating a performer. My wife is not in the business, but hypothetically, I do not regard performers as being somehow tainted. I was staking my moral position only. Peace.
^I hope you don't think I was attacking you on moral grounds because that was not my intent. I don't believe porn performers are immoral people anymore than the people who watch them are. immoral. I just think your comment is one that you realistically can't make if you aren't in that situation and morals have nothing to do with it and everything to do with what I wrote.
Being in a relationship is already hard for all of us but being in one where one of the person happens to have a job where she is expected to have sex with strangers adds elements that few other jobs have. Sex is an important part of an healthy loving relationship and if one of the persons can't have sex with the other person because she spent a few hours on a porn set getting pile driven into a couch and is really sore then it's going to be a problem.
Your heart is in the right place and that is more important than anything else.
I think your point about the family is relevant, as no doubt siblings would struggle to understand that their friends may have masturbated to their performer sibling

Brooke Wylde and Taylor Whyte are sisters too, but I don't know who followed who. And Justin Hunt was a brother who followed his sister (Mia Malkova) into the industry. So some siblings, at least, think: 'Good idea, sis!'
Sucks that Riley can't find a true relationship. Unfortunately, society is a clash of liberal values and antiquated political and legal structures, plus traditional religious values. People broadly agree that women and men should have the right to make their own choices, but when it's a family member or someone they care about... Hopefully, as we go forward, these issues won't be as pronounced, but they will always be there.
According to Data 18, her first scene was released in Nov 2010, meaning she has reached a decade in the industry. Congratulations Riley! Hopefully there is more to come.

^ No, that is DEFINITELY a scene that was shot years ago. Jules Jordan is notorious for releasing scenes years after they were shot; it's kind of annoying.
^further investigation (and the now available mini-preview) show, that Riley is bald in that video. That was the case the last time in 2012 (Slut Puppies 6).
The other way to look at the 'new' old scene is that shaved pussy fans get a new scene with Riley shaved, without her having to shave it off and upset her bush fans!
