What I'm hearing is that there's a problem with DVDs being copied at the retail level--and cheating the production companies/stars out of significant money from re-orders. Direct distribution, either from Star/Company websites or Pay-on-Demand or downloading to mobile devices for a fee, allows the people who made the sexvid/scene to get their payday. All of which could explain the weak DVD distribution stream. Again, this is just my guess. [Link] |
