| RoccoFan Member 337 Posts 2/02 |  Posted - Dec 11 2002 : 8:21PMI just saw the latest "Straight to the A" and besides the fact that the vid is another RLD winner, I just wanted to let Dion and everyone at RLD know that I like the menu's. I know there have been some comment about them on the forum, but they work just fine on my Sony DVD player. Something like this was what seperated Evil Angel from the rest of the pack. I can't tell home much I love it when companies take the time to do things properly. Things like this are what endear fans to particular companies. I would recommend replacing the words with the letters O, A, and C (Oral, Anal, Cumshot) to further minimize on screen distractions. Actually, as long as you have the scenes properly disected, you don't need the menu. After a while, folks will come to know how you seperate the scenes and react accordingly. As much as I like your stuff, I really don't want to buy any of the discs that have the menu. I typically buy your titles on the day that they are released (at a Brick & Morter store). I'd rather not have to spend money on a rental, or have to wait for a review prior to buying future discs to endure that the menu is not present. If the menu were to disappear after a minute at the beginning of each chapter, I'd be ok with that. But if the menu goes...life will go on.....just please please please keep the chapter breaks. I do find the commands on screen to be somewhat distracting. But ... I like being able to jump forward to the next sequence. All RLD needs to do to satisfy everyone is simply include more chapter stops in each scene. JUst skip the menu. People can figure out for themselves. [Link] |
