Are there any titles like this? I'm also tyring to get it to show off to my friend. He is very into this stuff and the more it's appealing to him the more he'll buy the more I can borrow So I need some GOOD suggestions please. | Saki At-Large 2087 Posts 11/99 | Posted - Apr 4 2000 : 1:36AM I'd recommend these titles as DVD demos: * Electric Sex: Collector's Edition (Digital Sin) - Wonderful menus, audio commentary, complete deleted scene, outtakes, trailer, special effects reel - it's one of the best DVDs for extra features, in fact, it won for Best DVD Extras in the last AVN Awards. * DMJ6: Devil in Miss Jones 6 (VCA) - one of the flagship DVDs from VCA, lots of extras and a great overall DVD. * Private: Millenium (Private) - A great compilation of complete scenes from Private's 10 year history of adult videos. It's a super value with high quality video and I highly recommend it for anyone who's never seen a Private feature. It's a "best of" video and a guided tour, all in one. * Ritual (VCA) or Pin-Ups 2 (Studio A) - These two tie for the best A/V quality of the adult DVDs I've seen. Nearly flawless video and audio that rival mainstream discs. That's my short list of porn to demo to make VHS look like the telegraph. Most of those discs are on the pricey side, but they're well worth it, and in this industry, you often get what you pay for. | sonic Deactivated User 1178 Posts 12/99 |  Posted - Apr 4 2000 : 1:27PMSome a few, are in widescreen mode..like Pin Ups 2 which is about 1.78:1, though it is not anamorphic...meaning when played on a 16X9 television, you won't get the extra 33% resolution, but I believe you also won't get the black bars because the widescreen image height is good for such a set. ............... There are some directors and studios that are starting to do widescreen releases (letterboxed, not 16x9 enhanced). Private is the only studio that I've seen that is consistently releasing all of their new features on widescreen DVDs. Some of the top-notch directors (such as Michael Ninn and Andrew Blake) are experimenting with mixing widescreen shots with full-frame, but I haven't seen anything from them that is 100% widescreen yet.
