Yes it is tough to make a lot of money from porn these days because of internet piracy. Most studios are struggling, and the ones that are making a lot of money are not actually making it from the porn they sell; they are making it because they own some of the illegal piracy sites themselves. It's very bad. Performers can make more money by doing cam shows, stripping, selling their phone number for texting, having private skype shows, making custom videos, possibly escorting as well.
