Our website, Swallow Guide is a small website that is trying to save money and produce scenes. Me and a few other swallowing fans/volunteers try to collect data and raise money It would be very helpful if you could please offer some very specific suggestions and criticisms of our site. It is hard raising money and I want to make the user experience is as pleasant as possible. Also if you know about any technology, apps, or programs that would be helpful please let me know. Have any ideas, concepts, or models that you would like to see in future scenes? Maybe you havent noticed that Porn has not been produced on nearly the same level as it between 2003-2008.... Many websites and series have come and gone and stopped updating. Largely because of internet piracy Feeding Frenzy, Sperm Receptacles, Throat Injection, Cumfixation.com, Gagaholics.com, 10 Man Cum Slam, Gag Factor, Down the Hatch, A Good Source of Iron... and many many others ... Where are they now? It takes money and lots of it produce a single scene. Unless you are backed by a huge company it will be hard, and even then its hard raising money (especially if you come from a poor economic background like I do). I wanted to take action. So I did... but the scenes have to sustain themselves. $24 May seem like a lot for a single scene but u prolly pay as much when go out to a casual restaurant and order an appetizer, meal, beverage and tip Dont you think I knew ahead of time that people would complain about the price? Do you think I like charging that much for a scene? Do you think I enjoy having to respond to peoples complaints? I charge that amount because that is the amount that I have to charge in order for this endeavor to stand a chance at succeeding. - Payment Processor Fees - Hosting and Bandwidth - Various Website Security software and updates - And various cost to produce each scene depending on the producer (Makeup, location, agent fees, model fee, producer fees) Each of those scenes on my site I had to work for and save up for to have produced. And they are expensive... The money raised from the site so far has been insignificant. And I am still thousands in the hole... Why? Because I love my porn and I care. Try walking a mile in my shoes. Try working hard and saving up money to produce scenes you are passionate about. If it was your money on the line how much would charge? What would you do? I tried charging less before and that failed miserably. I stand by my efforts, feel free to check and research my site as much as you like. You will find nothing but the purest of intentions. Why would I spend $25 for a 20 min scene through your website when I can spend $25 for a 250+ min 2-disc movie?  That is Anissa Kate on the cover. The same performer that is on your website in a $25 Exclusive Scene. Same producer, same quality. For $15 for 30 days I can join the Evil Angel website and get all these Jonni Darkko produced scenes, as well as all the other producers/directors under Evil Angel. All in crystal clear HD. Again, how are your efforts changing anything Darkko is already doing, other than charging the porn fan more money? The stated reasons on your website for the decrease in quality porn is that people do not want to pay for porn anymore. How is overcharging them going to change that? That scene is different from the one on Suck it Dry 10 Also Jonni Darkko is a world famous producer, he is already established, and has a MUCH bigger fan base and following than my small site has. He will therefore make many more sales. He could charge MUCH more for his content ... especially considering the fact that before Suck it Dry 10 was even released, the ENTIRE film was pirated and available for download on many websites. Many producers have fallen by the wayside... and it is hard times for many producers in the industry. I suspect that Jonni has other investments that can subsidize his creations. I think he is not in it for the money but for the fun. I am not in it for any money either, because heaven knows i have not made any. But I am not in the same position or situation that Jonni Darkko is in right now... I would love to charge much less, but if I did that I would not able to support future scenes. (I have no interest in making a profit, I would still produce scenes even if it cost me money, but when they cost me LOTS of money per scene I can not sustain that in my current financial situation) I pay for scenes directly out of pocket. I have contacted several top performers that have agreed to shoot for their first swallowing scene for our site. But I have to postpone their scenes simply because the money simply is not there. Now, maybe at 7-Eleven they don't have the Caffeine Free version, but I am thirsty and have to decide if I want to ingest the caffeine or spend the extra $7.00. That is what you are asking porn fans to decide. Suck It Dry #10 has 14 scenes for a total of 305 minutes. I can buy that dvd for $32.50 ($26.00 for dvd, $2.50 for tax, $4.00 for shipping). That works out to about $2.30 for each scene and averaging about 21 minutes per scene. Working in the opposite direction, if I wanted to purchase 14 scenes of about equal length from SwallowGuide.com in an attempt to get an equal amount of total content I would have to spend somewhere in the neighborhood of $140.00 - $180.00 (based on per scene prices of between $10.00 - $13.00). Would you pay $150.00 for a 2-disc DVD? And as mentioned in previous posts, I can spend $15.00 for 30 days of membership and download hundreds of scenes. The payment processor Zombaio does not allow tranactions that less than $9 Right now I have lowered the prices to see what works ... but the lowest I can possibly go is 9 and the other adult payment processors like CCBill, EPoch, etc all have a $500 upfront charge to accept Visa If you go to Clips 4 Sale you will not see very many if ANY videos that cost less than $4. and most of those that are made by amateurs and they film themselves. They dont have the same costs I do, if they did they would be forced to charge more or else they would not be able to sustain future scenes. I have to pay directors, pornstars, agency fees, etc, etc,etc Swallowguide for the time being is a small operation and does not have the luxury that many large outfits do. It may seem like you'd be losing money (with the subscription model), but how many of your buyers are actually buying multiple scenes? I would pay $25-ish to subscribe to a site with only 1 or 2 vids I want, rather than pay $15 for a single video from that same site. Just because of the uncertainty factor. I'm uncertain that maybe you have more than 1 or 2 worthwhile videos. And/or I am uncertain that I might not chose the best video to spend my $15 on. Some of the scenes may end up appearing on AEBN, Hotmovies, Gamelink and other streaming pay-per-minute sites... But if that ever happens that wont be for a long time. Most likely none of the other scenes will be available on streaming sites. Just to be clear: the scenes will never appear on any other DVD. If SwallowGuide has to shut down, for unforeseen crcumstances (death, severe illness, legal battles) then all scenes will likely be placed on Hotmovies.com this way the world can always have access to the scene. However... I am in this for the long haul... The Ultimate goal is to be able to produce 2-4 scenes each week (We have a long list of top swallowing dodgers and pornstars that have already agreed to shoot for us- they are just waiting on us to cut the check)... with a variety of themes and settings (Blowbangs, 1-on1, Gangbangs) but because we are limited financially we are forced to take baby steps for the time being. As far of a membership site (where you pay 1 price and have access to all scenes)... that is something that prolly wont ever happen... [Link] |

First impression I get is it's an amateur fanpage made in 20 minutes with frontpage express, hard to understand what the website is trying to do or sell. Why are all the sections given the same size/importance? Surely "exclusive scenes" should be given more attention than "terms"? Why not imitate the layouts used in most pornsites like brazzers, bangbros etc? - Exclusive scenes, the first "section": what is this? I haven't seen anything yet and you're already telling me I have to be a member before I can "purchase scenes individually" and buy "votes"? Where are the scenes? I just got here what's a vote? What are the scenes? Why would I pay for a vote? Why am I being told I have to pay for something when I don't even know what you're selling? When I click on exclusive scenes I should be taken to a listing of exclusive scenes you have, with pictures, some text, prices, ideally a streaming trailer so I know what I'm getting. - Pornstars: Nothing horribly wrong, obviously looks amateurish. Thumbnails are kind of small and since you're only showing 12 of them and listed in alphabetical order going from A to V when I checked I am led to believe those are all you have before I click on the letters and see a text-only list. I would list more profile pics in the pornstar homepage, make the pics bigger, have them sorted by popularity or "A" to prevent someone from thinking that's all there is and have a "more models" or "next" navigation buttons so there is an alternative to having to pick a letter in order to browse through models. Some users might be mislead into thinking you have scenes with the listed pornstars, be careful. - Cum dodger: A bland text list, if this is supposed to be user friendly info there should be a profile pic next to each name. The text on top reads " Cum Dodgers Which Cum Dodger to you want to finally see swallow? Help Swallow Guide’s make it happen! ~ vOTE The following are ladies who never swallowed in a scene." They're cum dodgers because they never swallowed? Maybe I'm mistaken but I was under the impression that facial dodgers were also qualified as cum dodgers, what about creampie dodgers? etc Well this was mentioned earlier. The list would be a lot more interesting if it it was a list of profile pics, maybe sorted by popularity and/or how long they've dodged it, i.e. how much of an interest there is likely to be in seeing/funding such a scene. - Reviews: a 1x3 table full of names and broken links. I don't see why you'd show a section that's so clearly under construction/useless. - BJTalentSearch: Another list, I have no idea what it means, the jumbled mess of allcaps words doesn't explain much either. - Stores: 1- Why stores and not store? Are there many stores here? 2- Store is usually where the website sells stuff to the consumer, DVDs, panties/mementos etc, not where a visitor sells something to the website. - Contact us: layout is awful, like all the other pages before. gmail isn't professional. - Terms: End users don't really read the terms, but aren't they supposed to have some legal crap in them? - Cum queens: another list, taken from IAFD this time. I think IAFD actually has text you're supposed to use when you quote info from them and only for non-commercial purposes. - Upcoming Scenes: I'm expecting to see previews of upcoming scenes and instead this is where you kind of explain what the site is about. - Decide our next scene: It's a mess, why do I have to read through many paragraphs to understand what you're selling/doing? - jonni-darkkos-blog - why? - brandon-irons-blog - why? In essence, as far as the website goes I think it's a bit of a mess, saying "we're fans, it's not for profit" doesn't cut it for me when money transactions are involved. I love the idea of getting long-time dodgers of a porn act to finally give it up, but there are reasons why such scenes are typically only found on models' personal pages, c4s stores(little added cost for them) or front of a DVD cover by the likes of Elegant Angel(can afford to take risks with a possibly unprofitable pick). Ideally the producers would run a similar scheme and we could get it from the source directly and pay more competitive prices. But your hook is you want to be THE Swallow Guide for teh internet where everybody goes who wants to see swallowing. A few things.. I think hoochimama raises some good points: 1. The website and I fear your purpose is not really clear.. on whether it is a free or pay site? And if both needs to be clearly defined. That its a free resource but you can also buy vote on new content? 2. You had me with Sophia Santi (huge fan) but then as said lost me with Cum Dodger as I know she is not getting her face plastered in Massive Facials 3. Cum dodger and never/non-swallower are two completely separate things, and Cum Dodger is a very well accepted and widely used, and your case incorrectly used, term. 3. No actually I'll tell you what immediately put me off. You had the nice full picture of Sophia filling the box, then the next slide with Sophia Lomeli was very small pic centered in the huge black space instead of filling the space. Immediately looked amateurish. Are you looking to get other producers on board, any chance you can do the scenes professionally yourself? So couple of things I think: 1. You said when you have time.. however I think you need to immediately address/change Cum Dodger throughout the site. Right Now. 2. Then look into purpose/design of your site. 3. Perhaps then look into how you can offer other swallowing content (ideally unique) and get more traffic. Neither of which I have any idea about in the industry.. but you need to get 1 & 2 sorted first. Eg need a tagline better than "Cum Swallowing Database" which again murkys the water between free resource or paysite. And site blurb at the top defining exactly/quickly what the site does. Also your site looks more like real-estate or upmarket furniture store than a porn site. [Link] |

I really have faith that this site can be a success if I work out the kinks... Actually the issue is i just need to have more scenes produced...
