I had a chance to talk to them in the hallways and on their breaks and they even made time for me when they were signing. At one point on Saturday, I stopped by Anikka's booth just to wish her luck at the awards that night. There was a line of people waiting so I didn't want to skip anyone, I just grabbed her hand and wished her well. Meantime, some guy skipped the line and the guy that was first got a little testy about it. They started arguing and Anikka wasn't about to get in the middle of that so she looked at me and asked if I wanted a picture. Sure, absolutely! I jumped up on the podium and she told the guys to wait while she takes a photo with her friend. I'm sure both guys were shooting daggers at me! LOL. Meantime, if you remember my first interview with Anikka from September of '13, she mentioned her mother quite a bit. At one point, I said I wanted to party with her! The first day of the show, Anikka told me her mother would be coming in. HOORAY!! We had some missed connections on Friday but Saturday was the magical day! Mick called me and told me to come over to the booth because Claudette was there. I raced over and we hugged like we were old friends! Now I know where Anikka gets her looks from! We talked for about 30-45 minutes and she knew all about me! We discussed all things porn and some experiences from Anikka's childhood. It was fantastic getting to meet this wonderful woman. At one point, when Anikka was posing with some fans, Claudette said, "I remember when I had an ass like that!" Awesome!! Anyways, it was a great night for the first couple of porn, both winning Performer of the Year. I caught them after the show and gave them a big hug. Anikka was hosting a party at the Mirage that night and they wanted me to for sure come and Claudette wanted to dance with me. Unfortunately, I had to wake up in a few hours to catch a plane so I missed out on an opportunity to party with her mom like I set out to do 18 months ago! Oh, well, that's something to look forward to next year! It's always great talking to Mick and Anikka. They both deserve their wins and I'm happy to call them my friends!
