He also is very careful about sets, costume, lighting, etc. His films are beautiful. Some have graphic sex in this setting, usually with well done music as another element. Blake's work after about 1995 or so (give or take) got decidedly more soft and continuted to be beautiful, but had very little "hardcore" action at all. I stopped watching at that point. Vivid can have good looking stuff, but I've never been a fan. Private can have amazing production values, incredible sets (like a million dollar set), and Euro stars that you'd expect to find on runways. Private (the film company) also tends to be VERY hardcore, so you'll see a lot of sex of many types. The best I've seen in terms of production and sets are from director Antonio Adamo.
