^ seems as a logical place as any to talk about it. The end result will be the same. If you go to Mimefreak's thread to try and discuss it, your comment will just be dismissed with "In the works" which sounds a lot like me when I'm asked about how cleaning the garage is going. Between being ignored there and it not being the right place here, I'll choose here, at least in this thread we got AJ.

Abella Danger just a few weeks ago on Lex's show expressed wanting to do IR anal with him and other companies, but had already promised her first to Jules. She said "whenever Jules wants to shoot it" she would but there doesn't seem to be a clear timetable there either. As others have already expressed here, it's hard to give Arch Angel the benefit of the doubt when AJ herself is just as "in the dark" about the showcase as we the fans. It also brings to mind Remy Lacroix's Twitter tirade about 'em last month-sure, it was unprofessional and rude for her to "diss" them on Twitter for all to see, but that doesn't mean that she didn't have a point. Furthermore, it doesn't help that MimeFreak dismisses the subject:Even though the guy responds to everything on his thread, when I asked him for "a bit more clarification" about the status of the showcase, my post went unanswered (while he responded to every other post on the thread page).

It's hardly the same thing. Big difference between a performer saying that when she does decide to do IR anal she has an agreement that it will be a particular company, to a company announcing they are doing something, getting the performer involved to promote it and then not doing anything about it or even keeping the performer up to date on its status.
^I agree completely. I love Arch and the way they do business(gir the most part) but this is getting ridiculous, you got AJ herself on twitter saying she wants a BBC in her ass and Mime responding with "hold tight", what? I respect AJ for trying to keep her word to Arch but at what point does she just say "fuck it" and shoot it for another company or her site?
^As much as I would love for AJ do just say "fuck it" and do it for somebody else, can she do that tho? Common sense, at least for me, would be that AJ and ArchAngel has some kind of written and signed agreement/contract regarding her first IR anal or IR DP or whatever firsts she was going to do for her showcase...Man thow I wish somebody else would get AJ for her showcase. When/if her ArchAngel showcase comes out the chances of AJ getting another one for another company are probably slim...

Well; if one of the parties is not living up to their end of the agreement - in this case ArchAngel - then I fail to see why she wouldn't legally be allowed to rescind the contract. If ArchAngel's decision to not release or even shoot the agreed to first IR anal or IR DP or whatever is resulting in AJ having to turn down offers from other studios who may want to produce the scenes and affecting her employment opportunities I doubt any court would side against her. In all honesty, ArchAngel is off my list. Even if they were to release it tomorrow I wouldn't give them a penny of my money. It's seems a company that is not respectful of the performers or the consumer.
Let's keep this thread about AJ and her fantastic performances. None of us knows what's going on with the Arch Angel showcase yet everyone thinks he's an expert. Personally I feel that AJ deserves a showcase but it's up to the various studios to decide to do it. To expand on AJ's post, there is someone else in the industry who has at least 3 showcases with 3 different studios in a 4-5 month time oeriod.
The only thing I meant was that having done/almost doneall of your firsts the chances of you getting more showcases might be smaller than if you had more firsts left. I personally think you deserve more than one showcase, 5 AJ showcases would be awesome.

^ LOL, seriously...he mowed 'em down! As for the point AJ made-as a fan, I find it disappointing that the same "select few" girls tend to get all the showcase love. It seems like more often than not, the studios will give another showcase to a girl who's already got one (or several) already under her belt. And to MorganKane's point, I do worry that since she's checked off pretty much all of her "firsts", it does make it tougher for AJ to get a studio to give her the showcase treatment. Of course, Arch Angel is supposed to come through for her on this, but here it is nearly 6 months after we were first told of the news of a showcase for her, and the star herself is just as clueless about the status of it as we are. I'm just another fan, no industry expert, but it sure does seem like they've put the project, not to mention the peformer herself, on the back burner. As for work from AJ we know is coming soon...still waiting for a release date (membership site) for her DP scene for HardX. I would guess that it'll be released before the DVD release date, July 15, but hardxj hasn't mentioned a date and it's not up on the Upcoming Scenes page yet. Given the limited amount of content it's somewhat hard to agree with that statement. Then again I could see where someone with a vested interest would say so.
Better??? The plans already sounded great. Arch Angel is a great choice. So if whatever is in store is better, then it must be incredible. TAP isn't isn't as hot as it may sound. It's nothing more than tipfucking and slipping out dicks. It's more a circus act. The DP Me scene was okay. AJ was hot, the teasing was hot. The DAP part was a little bit short but that's understandable. Having two dick in the butt is probably pretty heavy. And James Deen proved me again, why I usually avoid his scenes.
