So I spent the money and picked up this scene, especially since I don't really buy much from LP, but its Maddy and AJ. Man the action was hot, loved how the guys just came in and went to work on Maddy and AJ. Proxy's camera work doesn't bother me either. I Could see enough of the action. The camerawork is significantly better in this one, so either it is another person or Proxy is learning quickly.

I was pretty bummed too when they didn't say my name but I'm happy for Adriana bc I can't sit here and say I'm a better performer than her bc I've nvr watched her stuff I've just seen trailers. I just feel that last year was her year, so I'm happy she got the recognition she deserves. As for me, I don't think I'll have another chance at winning this. I started doing anal 6 months into my career and I did everything fairly early. I went from no showcases in my career to 5 in one year. So I don't think I could ever beat the year I had this year. So I have a feeling I will never be winning this award at AVN. Which is fine. At the end of the day it's all about opinion. I feel like I've always been the underdog since I came into porn. Plus if you didn't notice already it's who spends the most money at AVN are the people who win awards. Bc obviously avn wants them to spend money again the next year. AJ Applegate ♡♡♡

^^ AJ, I think Adriana is an amazing performer too, but, honestly, in my opinion she didn't have too many amazing scenes/movies last year like you. You truly deserved to win POTY and I am pretty disappointed with AVN about it. However, I just want you to know that you are a really big name in this industry already, your fan base grows every day and I believe you still can win POTY in the future (maybe next year). Regardless there are not many "firsts things" for you in porn, we can't forget about your passion, beauty, performance on camera, commitment and everything more that turns you one of the most amazing performers nowadays. I don't think you'll need 5 showcases like last year to win this prize. Just a regular year of good content and one right movie with the right director and the right cast can give you that. But, just to you know, your fans really love you and your work! And I think the truly recognition of the fans are much bigger than any prize! You are amazing! Never forget this!!!

I have been thinking these awards are rigged for some time now the people who should win never seem to win and the winner nearly always seems to baffle me, i mean AJ had the most awesome year how can you do more than what AJ did? I sometimes think they are a year late so maybe AJ will win next year :) (I am not taking anything away from Adriana congratz)

Cmon a title means nothing. I don't even care about the avn or titles or whatever. Not to mention its a fan vote and not a "pro judgement" so its not really representative of your performance and not even your popularity. Its all about the number of people who voted. My Logic says that female favorite and female performer are not the same thing. Let's be clear I'm not a fan of anyone else either but you're among the best performers Imo. Its never the best who wins and its not because the others don't win that they aren't the best, this whole thing makes no sense when it comes to "people(fan) vote". Yea you got it, people don't vote for your performance or skills they vote if they like you or not. Like on tv little girls will vote in numbers for a hot guy even if hes clearly not the best or even the worst. THIS is meaningless. (not to mention politics behind) But on my side its simple you excite me and I enjoy watching your scenes and their quality. (And ur way hotter than adriana imo). Keep being a good whore, keep bending over, keep sucking a lot of dicks, keep opening your ass and most important keep enjoying the fact that your scenes make over people like me satisfied. This is what matters the most.

Hi gorgeous, I read this and it just made me so sad, but relatable so I figured I would respond. I totally get feeling like this! I've been in porn since 2010 and I have always felt like no matter how hard I try, I'll always be "second" if that makes sense and this year I really thought that I had a chance with my blow bang scene because this was the first year I ever went hardcore, but it didn't win. I was sad, but more because I felt I had let the company I was contracted for down. In all my years in porn, I've noticed --- Porn is really weird. Some people become mega favorites and sky rocket super fast, but they ALWAYS end up "retiring" or leaving porn completely when they have sky rocketed too fast. I've always been the girl, slow and steady wins the race. So, what I want you to take away from this is that you have build (and are continuing to build) is longevity because that's what will last longer. That's what will be more rewarding in the end and guess what? Eventually, you'll be holding one of those awards too and you will know that persistence and longevity got you there fair and square. I hope this made you feel better and I want you to know, I'm definitely a fan since we worked together! Xoxox B

^ Checking out AJ's Twitter, I see you're referring to a Girlsway scene that the three of 'em shot. Also on her Twitter, she pinned a tweet with a video clip from the opening sequence of her Gangbang Me scene where she's dancing. Yeah I take the screenshot then post it as an image here, and embed the image within the url for that tweet, so that people can click on it and go straight there. It's not the same as a true "embed" feature, but given the image policy, an embed feature would not be feasible here at ADT. tl;dr it's not that difficult and it lets me do things like this: (It's clickable!) Also, that tweet sounds pretty exciting. I'm a big fan of magical buttholes.
I do not keep up with AVN and did not knew if you won anything or what AJ, but you certainly deserved to. :) At the end of the day, you are amazing and have a huge fan base, keep it up and I hope you are happy. The job you do is great.
