Hi...I have not seen anyone from Evolution around in some time and I'm wondering if anybody knows if the latest wave of Whack Attacks , which was supposed to have shipped 06/22, got pushed back again or if there is a delay hitting e-retailers? Thanks.

I don't know about the next wave, but I was dissapointed with the 1st one. I got the original Whack Attack, and I felt whacked. The picture was incredible, but not one single extra. Sure, I got 2-3 EE trailers, but for someone who has a solid career with solid titles, I expected solid DVD production. I feel cheated, the title was overpriced for what I got.
i bought two of the reissues so far and considering the retail price is barely over $10 each ... i'm not expecting much in the way of extras. i am happy just to see them released with improved video and audio.
Apart from things like "A day at the office", most of Extreme's movies didn't have anything other than a few trailers. I can't imagine why someone would forget the excellent content of Tom's movies and complain about the lack of extras.

Reggie, is that you...? I tell you what, maybe I bout from the wrong site, where did you get yours? No disrespect to Tom, he is a class act. Most classic porn is $9.99, and I expected more since I paid more. A bonus scene, or some raw footage would have made it a worthy purchase.
Curent retail is as low as 13.50, but up to $25. I paid almost 17 with shipping and tax. Maybe Tom should condiser Two packs for $20. Just a suggestion for a thrifty porn fan.
I've picked up all the Class XXX discs for $11.95, a price I consider fair. The discs look so much better than the Extreme versions, I'm pretty happy with them. I just want more.

It was also my first time using that etailer, so I'm curious to see how it works out. While Byron doesn't have the quirky energy of Joey Silvera, there are few directors I like more than him for straight ahead gonzo action and his Whack Attack series is a prime showcase for that.

I compared the Extreme Whacks againt the new ones and saw no appreciable difference on a Pioneer 64" HDTV... I think some of the more offbeat Extreme titles were sloppy transfers, but ol' Tommy is dissin them so he hopes we will buy them over again so he can make more $$$
the three Extreme DVDs I had, Whack Attack 5, 6 & 12 had serious issues with the sound, which in the case of EE's reissue of 5 were cleared up. If I can get any movie on DVD for 10 or 12 bucks all I'm really looking for is good picture & sound. At that price point extras are frosting on the cake.

BushDVD.com just got in the latest batch (volumes 5-9) of re-issues in for rent. I quickly put "Whack Attack 9" into my rental queu. I can't wait to see Taylor St. Claire's scene again and hope to write a review of it to explore if I see any difference between the old and new versions (I'm talking the techincal concerns)
Tommy tried to get the DVD quality improved at Extreme, and that may be reflected in the later titles, but I found the Evolution Erotica releases of the earlier Whack Attacks to be slightly superior to Extreme's in terms of clarity. Also the new versions I've watched are free of the artifacts that occasionally cropped up in my copies from Extreme's.
