I'm curious if this is calculated (producers of mainstream shows having adult performers on) or if they just don't know. And why do the performers go on these sorts of shows anyway? Publicity? Attention? Just cause it's a hoot?

I saw Aleix Amore on 5th Wheel, and I have also seen Kitten and Delicious Milano on Blind Date.
The producers knows and that why they have these porn stars on their shows. They know with these ladies the sex might happen to spice up the show and for them to sell the DVD "uncensored" and sell the show on "pay for view".
Catalina's date was boring. With her dude, the old saying "You couldn't score with a porn star" was true.
I liked Friday's appearance on 5th Wheel because she was just so ridiculously over the top, it was silly.
Cheyenne was on Shipmates.
I think the overlap between porn and dating shows is a signal that no one in the young audience cares anymore. Porn isn't taboo for them and the time is right to include porn crossovers in our mainstream entertainment. Because the non-porn entertainment is getting more and more like....porn.

I saw the "Blind Date" episode with Nicole Sheridan she seemed a little too wild for her date. I wonder though if that was before she got into porn and met Voodoo. Also, Racquel Devine was on there about two or three years ago and look really good with blonde hair and slimmed up. Diana Devoe was also on "Blind Date"

I saw the one with Catalina and it blew me away that she was a real porn star, not some wannabe with no movies to speak of. I will definitely be watching these shows more to see what other stars pop up.
Bigdick- Sorry to tell ya' but I didn't watch Nicole's "Blind Date" or Alana's "Extreme Dating" all the way through so I have no clue how either date ended. Alana's was not going so well. At some point, in an interview and not to her date's face, she said something about how she would much rather be with Luciano because at least she knows what it feels like to be with him (in the biblical sense of course). And her date looked like he just really wanted to bang a pornstar for the bragging rights more than anything else.

PS...I really hate these shows and absolutely do not watch them but I will admit as a big fan of porn I do stop and watch a little bit if when I'm flipping through I see one such show on and recognize the girl as being a lovely adult film performer.
I've seen many porn babes on these reality-type shows as of late, including Cheyenne Silver on Shipmates, Catalina featured twice on The 5th Wheel and Belladonna making a cameo with Seymore Butts on Blind Date.
