I know this is a stupid question but why do porn stars have no lists. I know i'm opening a can of bad worms here but i was reading Christians blog where it said tht Shyla Stylez and Nikki Benz hv Christian on there no list. And did a lil research tht some female talent won't work with Christian because he works with trannys. But if a performer can perform which we all know Christian can deliver what does it matter if he works with trannys or not.

Wild guess people have no lists because they don't want to have sexual intercourse with the people on their no lists.
Hope that clears it up.

Adult industry workers typically aren't employees. They are working based on some sort of contract, be it for long term or just one film/scene. They don't typically just show up for work and say, "So who am I fucking today?" This arrangement gives the talent a great deal of control over who they perform with.
Having a "no" list just makes it easier for people booking them as they know of any potential trouble ahead of time.
The reason somebody adds someone else to their "no" list is pretty much irrelevant. If a person thinks there could be a problem (either real or just perceived) adding that person to their list is probably a good idea.
To use your example, if Nikki or Shyla think that there is some sort of increased risk working with Christian, do you think they would perform well in that situation?
The stars don't want to perform poorly. The producers don't want a bad performance. The fans don't want a bad performance. No one does. One way of avoiding poor performances is to avoid those known poor pairings. Hence, the "no" list.
I'll ask you the opposite question. Why in the world would you want performers not to have a "no" list? (other than the obvious, "we all want everyone to get along and play together with puppy dogs and unicorns, in a fantasy land that clearly doesn't exist")
Edit: is their/there a spelling or a grammar mistake?

Indeed, the reason could be as stupid as not liking the persons shoes... it's still not our business.
people will(hopefully) always have the right to discriminate when it comes to sexual partners.
A wife doesn't have to have sex with a husband a porn star doesn't have to have sex with every male in the business, even a 20 dollar hooker has the right to say no irregardless of what the reason is.

I only hate the no-interracial list. The rest I can accept like no-anal or no-gangbang.

Keeping in mind, the original question was about lists, not the people making them... And keeping in mind that this is the real world where some people still pay attention to asinine things like skin color, not some fantasy land where everyone loves everyone else...
You'd rather watch a crappy scene between two people that don't want to work together, than have "no" lists?
And this isn't directed at Ramsey or anyone in particular... The OP was asking about "no" lists in general. Not specific things on the list, not specific people, not specific acts. There are dozens of threads already started about those topics (one or two might not even be locked yet) Can we avoid turning this into yet another "how long til it gets locked" topic?

Not counting Max Hardcore that is.
I read tgirl Kelly Shore won't do scenes with Christian because he's got an attitude. I think it's confirmed by Vicki Richter.

^ Jesus Ramsey, you've already laid into Christian before about something you "heard" (but didn't see) about him being too rough with a tgirl, and then it turned out you had the wrong scene completely.
Any chance you're wrong again on this one?

Not wrong this time. I don't want to bring flames from other boards here but Vicki Richter has her own board called Hung Devils where's there's a thread called ChristianXXX and both Kelly Shore and Vicki Richter state their opinions about Christian very clearly.

Can't we back away from all the snarky remarks about performers that seem to be flooding ADT lately?

You say you don't want to, but then you do it anyway. Are you being forced to do it? Are there people in your home holding a gun to your head? Are you in distress? Should we call the police?
Its one thing if you want to stir things up in an internet forum, but don't be disingenuous (and off topic) about it while you are doing it.

Yes because I had to tell killbill I'm not wrong this time so I had to give a source. At least I didn't provide a link to the board and to the thread!
And I'm not putting down Christian for doing transsexual, hell I watch tgirl porn myself so it's no big deal for me. I actually envy Christian for doing a scene with Hazel Tucker ;-)

Since "no" lists are specific to the individual performer, I'd say you already know the answer to your question. There is no MASTER list of guys who are too rough in their scenes that applies to ALL performers. Some girls happen to ENJOY the rough stuff.
But I guess since someone called you out on going off-topic again and crying about interracial you had to do what you could to imply whatever about Christian...again. You really need some fresh air and a new hobby. You are so fuckin' lame.

the best part about shyla stylez and nikki benz is that shyla works with TJ cummings. and both girls work with criss strokes. i guess its all in the timing. or maybe i should have just not talked about it to anyone. i love the logic of some people in this biz.

Well unfortunately when you give people freedom to choose (who they work with or anything else for that matter) some people will make some irrational decisions. That's the price of freedom.
christianx, I'm sure you aren't losing any sleep over Nikki and Shyla, and you shouldn't. You still have a pretty impressive list of people that you do work with. And if it were me, I'd rather end up on somebody's "no" list for some silly reason that boils down to some hang-up instead of something more substantial like the manner in which I perform.

CJ, if you will pause for a moment and look at the thread-start post you'll see Christian's name mentioned. Ramsey didn't bring that up first.
As for Shyla considering Christian too risky ... talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
Some of the girl's concerns may be "uninformed" rather than "irrational". There's nothing irrational at looking at the state of gay porn in the US today and thinking there's no way she'll have anything do with people who, even indirectly, are connected to untested & unprotected gay anal creampie gangbangs.
Wendy Williams has emphatically stated that all of US tranny porn is tested to straight porn standards and is unconnected with US gay porn. So perhaps the concern of CXXX's tranny work is misplaced. But a quick search suggests there's plenty of unsafe tranny porn from Brazil - and John Stagliano can confirm some risks of that sort - that coupled with very high risks scenes in gay porn make the girl's concerns perhaps misplaced or incorrect but not irrational. "Better safe than sorry" is not necessarily a bad thing in the post-Darren James era.
As for Christian being too rough with trannys - he does scenes with girls too and I haven't seen many complaints. Maybe he's rougher with the boys? But the pics I've seen almost always have him as a bottom in tranny scene - hard to believe they can't control things in that situation.

As far as Cummings and Strokes are concerned are they still doing the kinds of movies that get one on a "no" list? If not well then I guess we know how one gets off of a "no" list.

Well, maybe the feeling is this, if he's having sex with Trannys on film, (which is just basically a guy for long hair and tits,) who or what is he having sex with off film. She might just be concerned about her safety and not do guys who engage in higher risk situations.

Performers need to talk more about risk factors, STD cases, decisions to work with someone or no to work, use condom or not to use. I think it would be interesting for fans and we could better understand such decisions about "no lists" and other things. I can not understand. If football player got injury, it is not taboo to talk about this case. Nobody say that we need to close football tournament. If porn performer got disease, it is absolute taboo tema!

this is the same argument that i hear all the time. but let me ask you this.....
is me doing those things ON camera with aim tested people MORE dangerous than male performers doing who knows what OFF camera where no one knows anything? because if you think i am an anomaly among male performers, you are kidding yourself.
additionally, for me personally, I have done 290 scenes a year for the past 5 years now. so if you think i am riskier than some other guy, then you are saying to me that I am PURPOSEFULLY and WILLFULLY risking other performers health. You see my point?
Plus if you know I am working everyday, then if I work with Girl A on Monday and Girl A works with Boy B on Tuesday and you work with Boy B on Wednesday, is there a difference?

Okay, going point by point.
#1, But the point isn't what other guys are doing off camera when noone knows what they are doing, the usual ignorance is bliss rule applies. The point is you are engaging in the higher risk activities on camera, so what are YOU doing that is riskier off camera that causes a concern?
#2 I didn't say that, but then again I'm not having sex with you, and porn is filled with shady characters. Not implying that you are one, but faked tests have been know to exist.
#3 Well, that point is debatable at best, but a dilution factor while a concern, is less of a concern than going right to the source. With the most recent HIV issue a few years ago, it wasn't like, A gave it to B who gave it to C who gave it to D. It was A giving it to B,C,D.
But since you hear they same thing over and over again, your answers come across like you're trying to justify yourself and deflect attention away from you and onto everyone else

^I think the point that christianx was trying to make (and you seem to agree with) is that some of the decisions to put someone on a "no" list are based in ignorance.
And since he was singled out specifically in this thread, I think it makes sense that he say a few things to clarify the situation.
Again, the problem you run into when you give someone the freedom of choice (in this case, whom they work with) is that sometimes those choices aren't based completely in fact, reason, and sound logic.

I do not think that the difference is so big. If you want to be a professional football player you need to understand that you can get the serious injury in every game. If you want to be a pornstar you need to understand that you can catch STD when you have sex. STDs are not the flu. It is your personal decision to put yourself at risk or not. People like to watch football, people like to watch porn. Why we feel shy to talk about diseases in porn if we not feel shy to talk about injuries in football? I think that real fans are ready to support their favorite performers in a bad moment too!
I should like to discuss other aspect. We know two big HIV cases ( in 1998. and 2004). We can see and read some confessions of very opened and brave girls like Belladonna, Sasha Grey, Melissa Lauren and some others about their bad experiences with STDs. That is almost all.
On the one hand we can read statistics about STDs cases on the Shelley Lubben website. It is alarming! We can read in several sites that performers are forced to work without condoms. STDs are very rampant in porn industry and condoms should be mandatory!
On the other hand we can find website of condom-optional company like "Kink" and read: "The new condom policy is that condoms are obligatory if any model in a scene wishes to use one, no ifs ands or buts. But believe it or not, many of our models can't or won't perform with condoms and they'd much prefer to shoot without them. So we decided we'd leave it up to each individual model. We ask each model separately, and if any one model wants condoms, EVERYONE must use them. If all models in a scene say that they'd rather not, then no condoms will be used. But as always, everyone who models for us must get tested at least once a month in order to do any non-solo work."
Performers like Phoenix Marie, Derrick Pierce, James Deen, Krissy Leigh, Mark Devis, Trinity Post, Bobbi Starr, Mr.Pete, Lexi Belle, Cecilia Vega, Aline, Kylie Ireland and many others made scenes without condoms for Kink! It mean that performers are not forced to work without condoms. Many of them prefer real, bareback sex. They are ready to take the risk. When I read interview of Belladonna many years ago, she said that she not use condoms in her scenes because her fans do not want to see condoms in porn. As her fan I saw that she constantly continued to work without condoms all the time, regardless of risks, STDs cases and pauses. I think it is true. It is not a secret that most of fans also love to watch real, unprotected sex without condom use in porn! Fans loves anal sex, DPs, DAPs, creampies and many other risky things.
I know that AIM did a great work to protect performers as much as possible. They made good testing system.
As viewer I want to know the truth.
How much it is really dangerous to work in porn from performers viewpoint? How much STDs are rampant in industry (not HIV, but other diseases like chlamydia, gonorrhea ...)? Why so many performers prefer to work without condoms regardless of risk? Why some of performers has "black lists"? What is wrong? Why tranny porn is more hazardous than bareback heteros porn? I know that many performers write on this forum, but we have only some answers to these serious questions.

If you want the truth about those types of subjects, the performers are not the best people to talk to. Each performer can only speak from their experience which boils done to anecdotal evidence. If you want to know about things in the industry you'll need to talk to someone who has compiled statistics across the industry, not individual performers.

... except for a staph infection (see Cleveland Browns: Kellen Winslow, LeCharles Bentley, Joe Jurevicius)
Oddly enough discussion of it *was* taboo, to Brown's management anyway. I doubt there's a lot of opposition to closing down the team facility to clean it up (though many Brown's fans wanted to see the team & front office cleaned out instead).

Doubt it matters much these days. Not sure how long these "no" lists go back, but I'm guessing at least 25 years. Some performers are starting to wield those lists like a blunt instrument these days, which I don't think was the intent. Back in the day, seemed we little if anything about them or who was on them. Just a different time now where things are disclosed that probably shouldn't be. Good thing is that most performers don't seem to take these lists that personally, well at least if it's not based on ignorance or just outright discrimination. All in all, I still think most performers are still pretty open to most things sexual. I still kind of miss the old days where everybody seemingly did everybody. Luckily most of my favorites no lists seem pretty small. Choice has always gotta be the first option though, but I'm not convinced everyone's ability to choose is exactly fair or apparent.

I only have one person on my no list and that's because he ripped me so badly that I should have gotten stiches. He was one of the first people I worked with and I'll never work with him again. The guy was a cocky prick and if it wasn't for a no list, I might have to work with him again. If I'm not happy and enjoying myself, it'll definitely show and who wants to watch a girl that's miserable, getting fucked? Not many. The no lists might seem silly, but it does come in handy. You can't always get along and work well with everyone.

This thread, along with the other current thread (the one about IR) reminds me that blacks have much higher HIV rates than other groups. Might this have something to do with a performer's decision concerning IR? Rational discrimination?

there are a million and one reasons why girls have guys on there no lists... for example: if the guy has done/does gay porn or trannies. and that's bc the risk is higher for all sexually transmitted diseases then male performers who don't do trannies and gay porn. next, there just isn't any chemistry and it has been discovered before by working with a guy, the guy may be too rough, bad hygiene, smokes, is an asshole, cant keep his dick up etc.... so you can pick one or many of those as why a girl say "sorry put such and such on my no list please and thanks" guys also have girls on their no lists.

I kinda agree with the no list and IR comment. I don't do interracial and probably never will. I think it's wrong to sterotype that african americans have a higher risk of having HIV, but the thought does cross my mind. I have other reasons for not doing IR but that is a small factor as well.
And I also agree with lilmissmackenziepierce's comment =)

When it comes to HIV and sex in my personal life, I can't say I go by statistics. ANYONE can have HIV and my decision to have sex with someone isn't based on the likelihood that their entire RACE statistically has more or less cases of being infected. Seeing Sierra Skye (and others) say that the thought has crossed her mind disappoints me. I never thought that someone would look at me and think that I'm probably more likely to have HIV just because of the color of my skin. As if I don't have enough other things on my mind in this country being black, now I have to worry that girls are looking at me as a potential health risk and walking STD because of a statistic.

Like I said, it's not a main reason that I don't want to do IR. This world is super prejudice so you hear nonsense all of the time. Do I think every black male has HIV? Absolutely not. Is it the main reason I'm not into doing IR? Not at all. I'm just saying it has crossed my mind but that's the same with any guy in the industry because you don't know what they're doing on the side in their personal life. I suppose it's not fair to point out just black males when every person is my concern. STD's and HIV is major concern when it comes to this business, that's why we get tested so often, so of course it's something that I think about often.

Believe me when I say I'm not picking on just you, Sierra. There are plenty of girls
that I enjoy watching who have never done and like you, probably never intend to have interracial sex for whatever their reasons are. I just wasn't aware that one of these myriad reasons was because some of you view black people as no more than a gang of ignorant and disease-infested, sex-starved apes, roaming free and unchecked, willingly and knowingly spreading their illnesses to the good white people of this Earth.
And the last I checked, black performers underwent that very same testing which makes it ludicrous to believe that they would somehow be any more likely than any other person or race to carry any STD.

I can't imagine why any girl in the porn industry would NOT have a no list. Nobody wants to be forced to work with someone they don't like. As for Christian, I think part of the problem might be that he's kind of dodgy on the subject of his interest in transsexuals, which turns the situation into a trust issue.
