You can see NOTHING in side angle view. Why do directors keep putting this in?
The films are too many to mention which are guilty of this. For example dvd's with great production, great girls, great facials etc but little close up reverse cowgirl and crotch shot DP's include the Full Anal Access, No Come dodging Allowed and numerous RLD series etc etc.
Im now trying more and more studios in an effort to get dvd's with a good mix of close up anal, DP and good facials. Any suggestions?
I quite like side angled shots, especially on a bed. While you don't see as much peneration, the side angle gives a lot more scope on the action! Obviously it has to be captured well!
In my porn I look for specific female body types. When I find what I like, I want to see it as much as possible. I personally don't think there are enough side angle, wide angle and full body shots in my porn. Or shots from above.
As mentioned above, I like the wide shots where you can see the full action, and you can see the female's facial AND body responses at the same time. I also like it when shown full body, kneeling blow jobs.
There's plenty of screen filling closeup shots of a dick going into a pussy or ass, or closeup p.o.v. blowjobs. After awhile that gets mind-numbing, and it's time to fast forward.
I like pistoning dick action as much as the next guy, but in my porn, I pretty much wanna see the female's whole body, as much as possible.

I'm not a big fan of side shots but I do like to see them from time to time. If things are cut right then everything works out well. As long as I get plenty of cowgirl and angled shots I'm a happy viewer
BSD, i agree! We need more scope in shots...I love seeing two bodies fucking and in full view. Its nice to see the bed in full view too! Nobody ever one an oscar for cinematograpgy that had close up shots ;)

BSD and Sanchez pretty much sum it up for me, I like to see the female in her totality, her facial reactions and her body. On many close up shots I am forced by the camera angle to watch the guys nuts bouncing all over instead of the female form, it becomes tiresome fast.
the problem is not really the side angle but how it is used. For example many Red Light directors use it to dead (making it repetitive and boring) ..As a matter of fact it is ALL they use even in close ups (that's it, period) and that's the problem for me. Why stay with the same side angle for the entire duration of a dp that last like 10 minutes??...there are some of us that need to see a frontal view of the girl's ass ....nobody is asking for the side angle to be abolished, that's silly if somebody take it like that. ..but really guys, when this side angle is used for too long with no break, it kills the heat of the scene. Just look; the guy's body takes half the screen and I can't see the girl's ass properly. Static camera work suck. Variety please!
Jules Jordan is good in mixing up the crotch shots with the side angles and the frontals. The guy shows everything, he should open a school and teach how to do it properly to other gonzo directors. The problem with Jules is that he thinks he is too good to work with euro girls that's the reason I don't buy many of his videos...Mike Stefano is another good director that shows crotch shots, he doesn't do it in all the scenes but at least in half you'll find them. At least a 50-50 chance is better than cero; like all the other porn directors in Red Light. Next to Erik Everhard, Mark Antony is the worst.
Please do NOT get rid of the side angles. In fact, add more of them! Side angles, shots from above and wider shots (all mentioned above) are seriously lacking in quantity. For directors who do include them in their work, it gives the viewer such a better perception of the action to show the intercourse and facial reactions in one awesome shot instead of choosing a close-up of one or the other.
