| Joey Starr Senior Member  Still wanking after all these years. 8082 Posts 10/00 |  Posted - Nov 21 2002 : 8:02AMI have acquired a couple of PUAKA DVDs (it's a German studio) which won't play properly on my Pioneer DV-530 (hardware modified to multi-region). The intro plays fine (until the main menu) with full sound and image, the extras also have sound and image, but the movie itself has no sound. A third PUAKA DVD I have plays perfectly on the same player, no problem. When I play the "defective" discs in my Apple I-book laptop this time I get the soundtrack OK!!! Those two DVDs are the only ones that caused problems on my Pioneer DV-530, I have probably viewed close to 700 DVDs on that machine... What do you think is causing the problem? [Link] |
