i try to stick to crucial stuff, which is the retail arm of micron(the company from boise mentioned in the article). they're made here, and pretty much everyone else is just buying samsung stuff and gluing it to their pcb's and charging for the elmer's and import fees. winbond used to make good stuff, but they're outta the biz.
