If you have already registered, please send in your nominations for Best Female, Best Newbie, Best Male, Best Director, Best Company, Most Wanted Celebrity and Best DVD. If you have already sent in your nominations, send in more. I don’t want to throw any names into the hat and we still need dozens more to fill the brackets. Post them here or email them, but if we don't get enough fan submissions, I am going to have to start throwing names in there myself.
It'd be a long post, but maybe you could list who you've got already, so you don't get 100 "well duh" emails telling you to put Evil Angel on the Best Company list, and the equivalents in other categories.
Also, do you have specific criteria for a "newbie"?

I'm not sure whether Jamie Elle and Karina Kay should be considered as newbies either. I just mentioned Jewels's most absurd newbie nominations. But you're right, I should've included Kat (who has done at least 228 scenes).
So what if you're not a newbie? That doesn't make you less attractive, and it certainly doesn't make you a worse performer. I think you're hot and a great performer. 1. Re: Newbie status....no need to argue with each other. I will double check everyone's name before the final list is up. Anyone who was nominated last year can't be nominated this year. I already took out Kaylynn and Kat because they have been up for Newbie before.
2. We already have more than 100 names for Best Female. I'm going to have to drop several names. If anyone has an idea as to which ones to drop, email it over. I might just go with emails from registered voters to make that final choice.
3. Anywhere I have listed Need 100, and we don't get them I will either fill in myself (I don't want to) or drop the 100 field to 60. There are still a lot of big name directors and male stars not nominated. It's in your hands.
4. Though the RRFF polls are ideally the voice of readers of my site, I am going to include the companies that refuse to send screeners or allow access to their girls. Also, if we get more than 60 we may have to consoldate some of the multi-label/same company names.
Interesting ideas. There are lots of reasons we can't do too many catagories. Since the awards aren't sponsored, I try to keep the costs down as much as I can :-) Also, there aren't enough MILFs or comebacks to have a good tournament tree.
I suppose we could come up with a final four for some of these catagories with no trophy. Best MILF, Welcome Comeback. Early Departure etc.
All have been added. We may have to consolate a few if there are too many. Even the ones I don't have contact with.

Why the heck am I on that list? This is an industry where as each year goes by more fans contact the performer wondering if they're signing at the convention. Yet also this is an industry where each year companies only want girls who have only done a handful of movies to promote their companies. Makes a whole lot of friggin sense.
I remember my first year signing at a convention I believe in 2001...
I thought to myself what the hell am I doing here at Erotica L.A.?? No one fucking knows who I am yet, get your ass back home Gen for christ sakes or just make contacts, give the girls who have a name a spot, while they have the time and chance to. UGH! So I did just that and skipped AVN that following year.
Blah, I felt compelled to blurt that out, to no surprise I'm sure it'll piss some people off but no worries, I get butt hurt too sometimes.
