What are some good porn sites that aren't well known outside of their country of origin, like based in Latin America or Asia or Eastern Europe that those of us in the US might never have come across?
^Isn't your question by it's very nature almost impossible to answer? I mean if it's not known or not well known anywhere but in it's own Country than doesn't that mean that we wouldn't know about it here in North America? If on the other hand you are looking for obscure porn sites that produce some decent porn that you haven't heard off than you will need to be a lot more specific about the kind of porn you like and the sites you are aware of before anyone can start suggesting sites. Ultimately sites that aren't well known in North America are probably not worth knowing because if they were than we would know about them.
I just made a thread that's similar but more specific than your question. France: nudeinfrance, jacquieetmichel, vincebanderos, frenchbukkake all have great content. Spain: Putalocura, Fakings (Ainara was amazing) Not that I've spent time in those countries or cultures but I'm just assuming due to the relative lack of online presence in English regarding this sites that they're pretty localised. There's great porn out there, Google translate is a wonder! Then there's all the myriad Japanese sites...

I am not looking for a specific niche - anything is fine. I am more interested in exploring what is out there that is not here, if that makes sense. I would think there would be quite a number of local-only (probably non-English) sites.
That reflects an amazingly arrogant attitude, surely? There are many, many things across the world that North America is completely unaware of, or doesn't like, and frequently they're infinitely better than the ones that are well known in North America. American porn, for example, is dull and formulaic. America gave us Hersheys - need I say more? :)
Some already named here, and then there are Japanese sites as well...all arguably worth discovering, depending on your point of view. The variation can be interesting to observe...differences in how scenes are shot, what the scenes are, etc. Why would anyone assume that every "worthwhile" porn site is going to be available or marketed towards US consumers? There are expenses related to payment, language translation, marketing, etc... They can do good business without having to cater to US consumers. Discovered Xel.pl. Turns out it is a very popular site in Poland. Quality looks good. All in Polish, but seems to be worth a look. I'll probably get a membership to try it out.

^I think you may have misunderstood the OP thread and my replies to various posters because we aren't talking about which Countries are worth knowing/visiting but the porn that that is made in those Countries but isn't well known anywhere else. There is amazing porn made all over the World but the more popular ones aren't unknown sites so much as unknown to specific people. I have been a member of many different sites from around the World but I tend to limit my purchases to sites from England, France and Eastern Europe. I'll finish by saying that while I appreciate the fact that you offered two examples. I can't help but point out that Buttman is just an off-shoot of Evil Angel and therefore it's a US based studio that just happens to offer porn made from around the World.
I get you, but I would sort of dispute the notion that all the non-US porn sites worth knowing are already widely known in the US. From what I can tell, the language barrier alone prevents that. I have found at least a good handful of quality sites that are not in English, with scenarios and performers that we don't see as much on US-based sites or on the big global/internationalized sites.
^Don't get me wrong. I think there are some amazing porn sites that will probably never be popular in the US because of language. I can think of a couple of French porn sites that made great porn but died because they were in French only and were not able to acquire enough members because of that. Just look at Legal Porno. It is one of the most popular porn sites on the net and while the bulk of their performers are Eastern European women who do not speak English. They still manage to be super popular but it has everything to do with the type of porn they produce. If they were producing the same stuff as DDF and 21Sextury then they would be suffering the same fate as those two networks because of language.
