I miss the Assman series. It was the best series in my opinion for the following reasons.
Most of the girls haven't made more then movies and Assman was usually their first foray in porn. This is extremely rare these days. Girls put in a lot more work, by comparison. And it's theme was for anal sex almost exclusively. Also very particular and demanding of standard. And all the girls are in a gonzo-porno environment that's just in its infancy. Gonzo's limits hadn't been established in the late 90s. The girls don't know what to expect, which doesn't apply today. Today, everyone knows (mostly) what to expect during the shoot.
There's no series today that has these qualities because the industry has changed fundamentally in the past 10 years and that change is probably permanent. Total nostalgia for the Assman series. Bravo, Monsieur LeCastel.
