A few days ago (I hadn't read those last posts from GaySatyr, DB, lunacy, etc. yet), I called the guy to tell him to drop it off to the office on a day when I wasn't going to be there. He says fine. A few hours later, he calls back and says that he had had the camera in the back of his car since that night, and now it's missing and he doesn't know if a valet or the car wash took it or what. At any rate, it's gone... I bitched him out royally and asked him why if he took it in the first place to suppossedly return it to it's owner, why would he be SO careless as to leave an expensive piece of equipment just laying around in a car??? Anyway, if this guy had just let security at the show take care of it, I'd have my camera and film. On top of that, I'm almost sure that he's lying. So, what should I do? The camera isn't what I care most about, but nonetheless, I'm going to have to spend $500 or so on a new one. Also, I'm never going to get that film back. Since I think he's lying, should I just confront him and tell him that he needs to do whatever he can to get at least my film back? (I think he probably sold off the camera by this point.) Or, should I just be the bitch that everyone think's I am and tell all the companies I know not to hire him?! [Link] |

The important thing is getting the film back, so I would threaten him with calling the police first.
