| karldiver Member 12 Posts 8/01 |  Posted - Sep 3 2001 : 8:06PMI accidently bought 2 titles from this studio (at the same time, of course), Latin Lover Boys and Bangin in Blue Jeans, and I punished myself for my foolish blind and greedy purchases by forcing myself to j/o to them. I was so ashamed of the purchase until I read the reviews on this site of other titles by the studio, identifying with the reviewers. I didn't realize how hillariously bad they were until reading the reviews (apparently they're all the same, since none of the movies I bought were reviewed but the still described my DVD's). Joeblow69's comment about the cast compirsing of homeless people payed with Pez was so amazingly and hillariously accurate. The thing is, their covers are so deceptive; the actors on them have nice bodies so it looks like there's going to be at least one or two good scenes on it, despite the low price. And like Feels So Right said, the discs themselves have nice pictures on them. That's what makes it so funny, the lengths they went through to decieve us. I think this company is run by homophobes who make these horrible videos to punish us for our "perverted desires". Why is a gay porn studio named "Nymph" anyway? Nymphs are females.

I guess at FiveStar, customer satisfaction is more important than the bottom line... Karldiver... I feel your pain. We honestly don't feel good about selling this junk product and we've come close to dropping the Nymph line. The problem is that they sell very well, even after we added the disclaimer. We're also puzzled by the fact that we have many customers who order Nymph titles on a frequent basis. In the next few days we are going to add a more strongly worded disclaimer. We want to do everything we can to make it clear that Nymph should be completely avoided. Ken Graham [Link] |
