Since apparently the release of the Paris Hilton sex tape has done nothing but fuel the (it seems to me) inexplicable media frenzy over her, is there any chance that a "mainstream" sex symbol will decide to take the plunge in the near future and go harcore?

I'm not talking about a successful screen or TV actress -- obviously, they are doing OK on their current paths. I mean models such as those on AlphaModels.net -- Playboy playmates such as Dalene Curtis and Jennifer Walcott, who show up on E! from time to time but have never really dug into the mainstream. Even Baywatch actress Tracy Bingham has a nude site on this network. Maybe former wrestling pin-up Tylene Buck? The line is obviously blurring.

It does seem that if one or two of these name models got together to produce and star in an adult video, it would be a huge money-maker for them, if they retained control, which they might well be able to do. Certainly, Stern would promote the living hell out of it.

Anyway, opinions -- particularly of industry insiders -- would be greatly appreciated.
