I have noticed a trend in porn, and have heard many others share this sentiment. These days 1 on 1 is rare it seems, especially in gonzo. It is now normal to have 2 or 3 guys on a girl, even four. Is this because more dudes leeds to higher sales (meaning this practice is popular) , or because directors want to let their buddies have a go, i really don't know why this is.
Sometimes gangbangs & multiple dicks is hot, but definately not always, and these days it seems one on one is the oddity when it should be the norm.
Have to agree with you there. Multiple guys in a scene really only work for me if it's a cumshot/bukkake style video or scene. DP irritates me for some reason and I find it pretty distracting when one guy really gets his freak on with the girl and I'm just starting to enjoy it and the other dude suddenly either wants a piece or steps in to go in the other hole. Every once in a rare while, I'll see a DP scene that does it for me but I really prefer a strong girl and a strong guy one on one. I just saw an Anabolic video the other day with two guys in pretty much every scene and it was like a train wreck. I didn't even finish watching it.
I guess gangbangs and such are popular but to me it's just a logistical nightmare. I've only seen one scene that was overloaded with guys in the last year that I actually enjoyed (many thanks to Hilary Scott's Anal Princess Diaries for that).
To each his or her own but as a general rule I don't even touch anything with more than two guys in one scene.
I think one director who shoots multiple guys welll is Mike John. Some of his scenes with a really cute girl sucking off like three guys is pretty hot becuase he always keeps a good view of the girls face and hair surrounded by dick, rather then allowing the dick to take over he shows the cute contrast between dick and a little hottie, however even with MJ I prefer no more than two, but if anyone can pull of multiple dudes, its Mr. John
one reason might be it is popular, it sells. but i doubt that. porn has always been selling, and frankly it is the girls that sell, not the men.
its getting tiring to skip every second scene in each movie, or select movies more carefully depending on how many guys are on your favorite chick... Its fine for a whole movie, or a gangbang movie, but as said before leave it 1 on 1 in atleast a few series please :)
When I'm buying an adult movie the girls are important but also the genre of the movie. Recently I've bought a few movies just because every girl gets fucked by four or more men at the same time. So there is a market for these extreme adult movies. And mostly there is nothing wrong with the girls performing in these movies.
I'm just glad it is a trend. 3 or more on one is great theater and this is porn. If someone wants romantic and sensual and deeply touching loving porn for the wife thats fine too but on about a 5 to 1 ratio. I hope the industry doesnt wuss out on us.
I just watched one on one the RLD series had Dani Woodward etc... so much hotter than five guys saying mean things to the girl etc.... Sometimes a few on one is cool like the MJ example but for most viewers it is an absolute turn off.
It all costs money. Nobody like their friends that much to do movie after movie with the additional cost. This isn't mainstream, where over-runs in the tens of millions is common.
I agree good sir, and my point they become buddies so it's like hey let's all go fuck this girl and it becomes like 8 on 1 and I find this disgusting at times.
Directors are often porn stars too, so they hire each other, or at least the ones that they feel can get the job done. However, you aren't dipping into the budget to make sure your buddy gets laid unless you think it results in more sales. They are porn stars, they get sex, this isn't something they worry about their friends getting.
True enough. Porn is a show; meaning for the most part the participants are performing more than anything. However IMO there is a point where too many guys just add confusion.
On a different note, your post makes me realize that I rarely see a scene with more than two girls and only one guy. Maybe this is for obvious reasons. When I think about it, it seems that adding more girls to a scene would be more of a selling point...
