what's the difference between Private Black Label and Private Blockbusters and Private XTreme lines? I think I knew this once but I forgot...which does each line do...isn't the black label supposed to be the more hardcore? Major brainfart.

Blockbusters is for features. Black Label is, I believe, supposed to be their better projects (ranged from all sex to feature).

I don't think Black Label has anything to do with the level of extreme. I think that it just had to due with budget, etc.

I know that when Penthouse bought out Private that they split their lines...there was the black label which put out the features with euro girls (uranus experiment, pyramid, etc.) but I also thought that they continued the Penthouse line of softcore films under the Private label.
That's when I lost track of things.
Now there's Private Xtreme, Private Specials, Private Gold, Tropical Private, Private Fetish, Private Exotic, and Private Classics with no way to tell them apart.

They have so many lines now I've lost track of them all. The Black Label line goes back a long ways though. Many of their current lines are relatively recent.

Blockbusters are the ones they spend the most money on, and are features.
I don't think they are doing Black Label anymore.
Xtreme is generally plotless assfucking.
Private doesn't appear to be releasing too much new material these days, and are issuing recycled material like crazy.

Well, if they are going to start rereleasing things, they really should start with the original Private Video line. That was the best, and except for a few stray features, the only thing from them really worth watching.
