| Mr. Hand Member 146 Posts 5/01 | Why does Evil Angel make us wait forever to to release some of their older titles on DVD? For example, two of my favorite Evil Angel videos are "Voyeur #11" and "Rocco's True Anal Stories #9". At the rate at which they are releasing the "Voyeur" series, I can expect "Voyeur #11" to be released around May of 2005. None of the older "True Anal Stories" is on DVD yet. I know they can't put every single video on DVD all at once, but why make us wait so long for the popular titles? I'm only a customer (I already own a ton of adult DVDs)and I have no idea how the Adult Video business is run. But could someone please explain to me how video companies decide which videos are transferred to DVD right away and which ones are sent to DVD limbo? [Link] |

| tricia_devereaux Evil Angel DVD Patience is a virtue, but who wants to be virtuous? 4283 Posts 4/00 | We are very proud of ALL of our movies, and feel that if they aren't good enough to give special attention to when they are released on DVD, then we shouldn't be asking consumers to buy them. Hopefully, the compromise that we've come up with about releasing at least 1 newer title per month for each of our 5 directors (John Stagliano, Rocco Siffredi, John Leslie, Joey Silvera, and Christoph Clark -- (Randy West is still with another company for his DVDs)) and alternating additional older titles from the directors to make up the rest of the releases each month is a situation where we can cater to the biggest percentage of the fans and consumers out there. And for us, we do hope that our amount of sales will improve by this method. It's flattering but at the same time frustrating to know that I work for a company that has so many devoted fans, because it's virtually impossible to be able to make everyone happy. In the next couple of days, I'll post an updated new thread listing our upcoming DVD releases. |

If you have any doubts about which of our titles are on DVD, take a peek at www.evilangel.com Thanks! |
