I'm still living in the DVD era, but curious about the on-line subscription porn...
If you subscribe to a site, for example Reality Kings, do you download the scenes to your PC for viewing anytime? Can you then burn those files to DVD if you want to keep them or is that something you're not supposed to do.
Please share some info and thoughts if you have sites to reccomend. What about prices ?
From a technical standpoint, I've unfortunately got Windows Vista, but I assume it will play the files I choose to download, right?
Any information to get started would be appreciated.

Lots of folks have looked at the thread but nobody has any insight? I did try one website's trial offer, but found I couldn't access most of the material.
Anybody's personal experiences might point me in the right direction.

Yes on most sites you can download the material to your pc. Reality Kings for sure. And you will have no problem running Windows Vista and watching movie files on the media player that is included on Vista.

They're all over the place, and some of them are intentionally vague about giving you such details before you join. If they don't explicitly say "Downloadable content", then assume it is streaming-only and you can't save it to your computer or DVD. Some types of streaming video can be saved but it has to be a certain format and/or you have to use special borderline-illegal non-free software to save it. And there is no easy way to find out before you subscribe. I've emailed websites to ask these type of questions and often they don't reply; they'd prefer I subscribe in order to find out.
Regarding trial subscriptions, if they don't explicitly say "full access", then assume that a trial subscription allows only partial access, restricting you to a small portion of the site contents. Sometimes they are intentionally tricky in their wording; for example here is one I saw recently:
$15.95 for 7 days (trial) then $29.95 recurring every 30 days
So, it is unclear if the (trial) refers to a trial period of 7 days, or if the (trial) refers to a less-than-full-access type of membership.
It's a jungle out there, be careful and be skeptical.
If the wording is unclear or is capable of having multiple interpretations, be safe and assume the correct interpretation is the one which screws the subscriber. Ask questions and clear any confusion before giving them your credit card.

Just fooling around with this for a few days and I've definitely learned that the "trial" period is a joke. No downloading or really even viewing complete scenes.....I know these sites are really competing for everybody's money but you would think that someone would come through with a high quality site and succeed thanks to good customer service??
My trial and error is over until someone points me towards the right thing.

There are a lot of dedicated website review sites out there that describe what a site contains, thebestporn.com or rabbitsreviews.com to name a couple, and they usually state if a trial subscription is full access or limited access. Nearly every site now is void of DRM, so the videos you download are yours forever. You could use the program Nero to convert them to dvd format if you want, simplest software I know of to do the conversion.
I would say starting out, stick to websites that use ccbill, epoch, or vsxbill for the credit card processing. Realitykings for example if you click the option for "Backup Credit Card Processor" it takes you to epoch's systems. These are the best ones, you will not be scammed through them.
Inside the sites, if you download .wmv video files (this is like 95% of all website videos), they will always play on Windows Vista. Other formats, .avi, .mov, .mp4 will play though you may need to install additional software first.

I've enjoyed memberships to Brazzers, BangBros, and Reality Kings in the past.
I'd recommend all three, to be honest. All 3 of them allow you to download videos, which you could then burn if you wanted. You can also just stream the video right of the site, if you want. As far as I remember, all 3 sites give you a few options as to what file type you want to save the video as. I think they all even offer iPod formats, too.
I haven't used Brazzers in a while, but that was my favorite site. I'm into the stereotypical porn star looking girls and almost 100% of the videos on Brazzers fit that bill. It was also the easiest to navigate and watch videos on.
If you like amateur girls or unenhanced girls, BangBros or Reality Kings might be a better bet.

Don't you guys find it's illegal to burn it on DVD? Downloaded content is much cheaper and nobody knows how many copies you gonna do of it. Every studio tries to sell as many copies as it can, that's why they are working to shut all resellers who allow unprotected downloadble content. Unprotected means you can burn it. With Vista/Win7 Mediaplayer licensing control you can not burn, but you can watch it multiple times from your PC.
I don't think that adult studio will push end consumers at all, but some resellers may and will be fined. It's a good reason to keep your long-term subscription away from places that allow you to burn content on DVD.
