Im sorry In my years in becoming a fan of IR porn(3 1/2 years.) this is
the one thing I have noticed, and will not ever EVER get.
Why do so many IR porn fans care to the point of discussions I see all on here and other places about girls doing IR or not. That is the one thing about IR porn I can
not wrap my head around. Because even thought Iam a Lisa Ann fan, I value myself as a black man more. So these whitegirls, latin and asian girls not wanting to do black guys doesnt phase me. Im not saying no one here doenst value themselves as a black man, but Im asking the question
Why is it such a big deal? Out of all these girls that do IR porn, I mean that one former playboy playmate esparanza gomez to my knowledge has only done IR films for Justin Slayer's company. But you got all these girls out here doing IR whats the point in caring about the ones who
don't, whether its racism or not.
Besides alot of it aint nothing more than just marketing attempts thats why they sell girls first interracial on their sites, trailers and the frotn and back covers of DVDs.
JENNA HAZE'S FIRST INTERRACIAL ANAL!
KYLIE REESE FIRST INTERRACIAL SCENE!
Marketing technique, I gaurantee you if and when TORI BLACK Does IR anal it will be all over that DVD&Trailer and on whatever companies website who hires her to do it. But regardless if those ones who wont do IR because of other reasons, caring about that in my personal opinion makes it seems like they are a black man's
lost, and that falls into the category of white women being
too good for a black man, and I dont believe that one bit, so for the girls that dont want to do black guys or certain things WITH black guys, it's their lost to me, because they are not above a race, especially in this country the black race.

Haven't you already been in some of those discussions? I mean, for the most part, I thought everyone's thoughts were pretty much made clear. Why discuss it again if you didn't understand it the other times?

Heya Supa,
You're confusing marketing techniques with personal agendas.
Lots of girls shoot with guys that they wouldn't give the time of day to, in their personal lives. For an adult actress, the decision to do interracial scenes or not is often a business decision. The decision to go into porn is also a business decision.
I'm not into guys. If I were told that if I didn't have sex with men on camera, I wouldn't have a chance at a career in porn, trust me I'd still be configuring Linux machines. This doesn't mean I'm 'too good' for a guy, it doesn't mean I'm gender biased, it doesn't mean I don't respect men. It means that as a business decision, I've chosen *not* to do gay or bi scenes (and believe me, gay male talent often make more than female talent.) I simply don't have any sexual interest in men; it's not motivated by any form of bigotry.
What happens, I think, is that porn viewers also have their preferences; some people like horror movies, some people like drama, some people like those lame romantic comedies. Personally, I like IR porn, because I enjoy seeing the color contrast between lighter skinned and darker skinned performers (regardless of gender.) I like black male on white female talent, because (generally speaking) black talent tend to be more dominant and aggressive in their performances than your run of the mill white on white performers (certainly, there are exceptions.) I agree with you, though, I hate how IR is sometimes marketed in a clearly racist manner. I also hate romantic comedies that pick on computer geeks (THAT hits close to home for me) but I shrug my shoulders, and pity the schlubs who pay for it. It's not really worth getting my shorts in a wad over.

Oh I kind of share the same points as you, I was wondering about the other side worrying about girls that dont do IR.
I agree with you before you even wrote that, lol.

You are making a great point but there is a big difference between a girl refusing to do IR sex and a man refusing to do Gay porn. Just like there is a difference between refusing to do IR sex and doing animal sex. Being gay or straight is your genes. Refusing to work with men doesn't mean that you find men unattractive...it means you are not genetically wired to do it. I think Brad Pitt isn't a bad looking man and on the other hand I think Rosie O'Donnel is ugly, but because I'm straight, if i'm given the choice I will take Rosie. A straight man will take an ugly woman over a super sexy man anyday. The logic behind not doing IR is attractiveness, so you are comparing oranges to apples.

Yes you right, and I apologize for it. But to honest, I didn't confuse who you were, I just confused the issues, which both I've been involved with discussions with.
Now the idea of wanting to see any certain white female do IR means little to nothing to me. I mean if they do it or eventually do it because they want to, cool. That's never really been my personal issue with it. My issue has always been one of discrimination and the influence of those discriminatory practices. I believe it's real and has been real for a long time in the industry. Like most discrimination, I believe it takes form in very subtle ways, which not only makes it tough to confront, but also tough to fight against. Hell my issue is more with the companies than it is with the starlets, although I do have them with them to.

Would you agree that having IR as a genre is already discriminatory?

I disagree. For $50,000, I could fuck a chicken. I don't find chickens attractive; in fact, I shot with an older older MILF a few weeks back where, given the choice between her and a chicken, I'd have gone with the bird. A performer doesn't really get to make those choices.
Lots of straight men do gay porn, lots of gay men do straight porn. If you're willing to choose Rosie over Brad, I'd say you find Brad less attractive than Rosie (as I do too.) If I offered you $1,000,000 in cash to sleep with Brad (or any other disease free man), I'm willing to bet you (and just about every male on this board) would do it. The question isn't if you *can* dot it, it's a question of who's more palatable.
Supa,
I figure the guys who complain on the other side are simply frustrated that hot girl A won't do their favorite fetish B. Racial issues are a huge part of why it gets complicated; if it were a complaint about why girl A won't eat ice cream flavor B, I imagine it'd be a lot less emotionally charged.

I certainly wouldn't disagree. Besides it being a stupid term, it's hardly ever consistent. IR in porn=black males. Not even any pretense anymore.

It's strange because I read this idea pretty regularly but one of the things that attracted me to black-on-black and IR porn, beside the hot black and latina ladies and nice asses, was that the sex tended to be LESS focused on degradation and conventional porn notions of 'domination' and the sex seemed more fun and less po-faced.
(To be clear: I don't mind rough sex but it isn't something I need every time I watch a scene, which use to be a problem in the 90s and early 00s where even apparently vanilla scenes would have left-field rough stuff for no apparent reason.)

Hiya BlackSix,
Dominant/submissive interactions are pretty high on my interest (I literally just came home from the dungeon, after pounding two lovely asses into bright red purple welts with bloodspots under the skin.) My interest isn't in seeing the girls roughed up per se, but actually dominated. Domination, for me, has nothing to do with forcing a girl to do things she doesn't want to do. Domination is about inspiring a girl to want to do things for me that either she wouldn't otherwise choose on her own, or that whatever social boundary would normally prevent it. Your average girl isn't going to give me a blowjob in public, but the moment she's stripped, bound, and leashed in a dungeon, this is a service she provides not only willingly, but enthusiastically. To, that's domination and quite unrelated to degradation.
Generally speaking, I think whenever the phrase 'conventional porn notions of .....' is used, we can agree that it's far and away from reality. I enjoy the reality of domination, the reality of aggression; not the bullshit, tiny dicked, whale assed bloated ego forms. In my opinion, this is part of what sparks chemistry in a good deal of IR porn, and thus part of why I like it.

Black males who hate black females have little choice.

The ones who have little choice are those who hate black/black and white/white. If you only watch IR porn, you are pretty much screwed because not many girls do it. Even the girls who do IR will give you 7 scenes at most on average during their whole career. However there is so much to choose from in White/White porn...that is why I watch bl/bl, IR, w/w and other kinds.

I tend to agree, although I'd like to believe it's changing. I mean I'm not that naive to think b/b or IR porn will ever be on the level of w/w porn. The amount of white performers, plus the generally excluding genres aren't exactly in it's favor. I've pretty much learned to except that. More is better than none though, and I actually feel IR porn is growing. I think it'll always be somewhat down until the overall talent, especially the male talent becomes more varied, but I feel things are looking up. I think most of the excuses are pretty much gone. There is more than enough black talent to make it happen for those that really want to do IR. I'd like to see some more of these younger brothers step-it-up though on the production side. Guys like Lex Steele, Justin Slayer, Mr. Marcus, Sean Michaels, and Brian Pumper aren't gonna be able to perform forever though.

Where did you get get those statistics from, 1990? Of my top 20 favorite pornstars right maybe 4 or 5 of them haven't done interracial. And on that seven scene average yeah there are some that have only done a few, but there are others who have done dozens, so I think your low on that one. I'm not in that group but if one wanted to only watch black men fucking white, asian and latina women they'd have plenty to choose from.

I opened this thinking IR was "infrared" and thought infrared porn would be pretty neat.
You misled me. =(

Well said, John! I don't know that I would whip a girl until she bleeds from her butt, but people don't understand that we aren't trying to be mean but anyone willingly participating gets off on dominance, including the submissive that gets whipped, bound and caned -- even to extremes like you describe.
I saw Madison Young get hung upside down and her face in a tub of (holy) water. Every 20 seconds or so the dom (Claire St. Adams dressed as a priest) would lift her face out of the water, say a few religious-inspired words (in character) and put her face back into the water. This happened about three times. Add to that crucifying her, whipping her, and wrapping her hands and arms up behind her like a pretzel -- let's say I was turned on (even though I think I can safely say I would never do the drowning sequence)! I think I can say Madison was there voluntarily since she wrote the script -- and the fact that she does a lot of BDSM scenes anyway. Lew Rubens is also one that does water torture as a dom if you are into that (both at kink.com).
