The main problem with our current viewing technology is that the zoom/framing/time controls are out of the viewer's hands and so is always at the mercy when the perspective shifts elsewhere, is always having to brace him/herself for the inevitable ill-timed cutting away to another shot, the cutting off of the other points of view which are equally interesting. A viewing technology that would allow more options and user manipulation such as camera switching, split screen, would provide a much more fulfilling experience whether the event be an orgy or the world cup.
