This week a porn catalog was mailed to my home address. I have never done business with this company and have not ordered any DVDs shipped to my home in over 18 months. This suggests that one of the porn credit card services is selling my personal information. No telling which one.
I don't know how to stop this besides complaining to the catalog company. Has anyone else received porn catalogs in snail mail that they did not request?

I have rented/bought lots of DVDs from the following outfits over the past 5 years or so and have never been sent a catalog in snail mail:
XrentDVD.com
adultdvdempire.com
Fiverstardvd.com
xonair.com

This doesn't completely answer your question, but I can say that from my experience, these 4 companies are OK.

Not completely on subject but I never ever had a credit card number stolen until I started ordering porn online. I'm not sure which company was the source but I have pretty strong suspicions of one that has now gone to download only. Won't mention the name due to lack of proof. I regularly use Excalibur, Adult DVD empire, xrent, Movies by Mail, Alpha Blue, Soemthing Weird, and a few others less regularly. Movies by Mail has a serious shopping cart problem that I have contacted them about but to my knowledge they have not resolved it. The cart adds items to your order without you doing it yourself so you have to constantly remove them and refresh it. Aggravating as hell.

Just to be clear, I do not think it was one of the porn companies. I believe it was one of the services they use that run the credit card transaction. They would be the only ones who are requiring my full name and address to confirm that the card belongs to me.

This is why I have a PO Box and buy my porn with USPS Money Orders.
