So, I finally saw Gapeman, which has the anal dream cast of Annette Schwartz and Adrianna Nicole together, Bobbi Starr, Dana DeArmond, Kelly Welles and Amber Rayne. Not a loser in the bunch (though Kelly gets old fast with me). Unfortunately, Brian Pumper is "The Gapeman" and besides going on and on about how he's "The Gapeman" in every scene he commits the most common and annoying crime of onscreen fucking: making showing it more important than the fucking. Every scene it's "three-strokes-then-stop-and-show." Over and over again.
Part of the enjoyment of porn for me is to: a) imagine myself in the place of the dude fucking and b) watching the girl get off. What guy enjoys "three-strokes-then-stop"? Because I'm pretty damn sure no woman on this earth enjoys it. And this a cast of women who love the backdoor action. Pumper---never the most dynamic performer to begin with and if he displayed the same energy with women that he does doing his lame raps he'd be one of the best studs working---is so intent on showing the gapes that he forgets that a gape is the result of extended fucking, not "three-strokes-then-stop." But he's not the only culprit. John Strong is a notorious offender and I've even found some of Jules Jordan's work marred by this. It's a clear sign that the guy is "working" and drains the scene of any sort of heat or passion.
