Well, they're certainly different from the norm. Their "Slam It In..." and "Fuck Me..." lines don't seem that interesting to me, but the rest of their stuff looks great.
The Harmony strives to bring an avant garde and fetish line into the Evil Angel lineup. I have not rented one, but I really like what I saw in the preview trailers.
I think there is way too much Gonzo on an office couch or in a warehouse table. Harmony puts time and effort to create a completely different environment. I think that's good for those times you want fantasy or some type of edge other than stroke material. Stroke material is like fast food, Pirate and Harmony (and some Bizarre) titles are more performance art oriented.
Evil Angel has added Harmony to their already strong list of gonzo directors. Harmony adds high quality kink and stuff that Evil didn't have in their stable. Personally I like their thinking.
I too enjoyed Belladonna's Fuck Me and I don't like Bella as much as I did 3 years ago (too many tatoos, g/g scenes and large butt plugs now).
I really enjoyed Tanya Hyde's 1995-2001 videos on the Private label, but Cabaret Bizarre was IMO the worst Tanya Hyde video I have ever seen. Every scene took place on the same bare stage and it was very boring, totally unexciting, totally disappointing. Tanya Hyde was Trevor Watson a photographer turned kink porn director and I wonder if someone else took over the alias ...it looks like a poor attempt to copy Trevor's style.
Gazzman ....Fuck Me Macondo ....Slam It! Tanya Hyde .Bizarre
The jury is still out, but I still like having more high quality gonzo choices offered by Evil Angel.
Hard to say. I mean, they were more psychological than every day gonzo, but the ones I referenced are much different than the latex/bondage stuff that many associate with Harmony.
Didn't know he made porn, I own his book 'Cheek!'... which is pretty mediocre except for a handful photos (the girl with this classic gas mask on is pretty cool) So a poor attempt to copy his style can't be very good...
