| aim4nuts Member 7 Posts 6/24 | I've seen Julia Grandi taking some flak from people, especially on Twitter/X. I haven't watched much from the Vixen studios since Greg Lansky left (not the reason why, it just so happened to coincide with my porn consumption and tastes diverging towards other types of content). So, with the exception of a few scenes from my favourite performers that I'd keep an eye out for over the last few years, I'm not incredibly familiarized with her style. I've seen people complain about her "softcore" camera angles or constant use of long/wide shots and I do notice a bit more of those, I suppose, but we're still watching a lot of intense gonzo close-ups in her scenes... I do think that the recent content has this air of blandness to it, which I mostly chalked up to a lot of the new girls - with notable exceptions - being quite, how should I put it, generic? Not trying to be mean, because these girls are definitely beautiful, but it's that kind of perfume advertisement billboard beauty, lacking uniqueness. It's an odd thing to say, but really, some of these girls look like such symmetrically perfect ready-for-the-catwalk fashion models, that they're just boring to me. Anyway, not to digress too much from the subject: What do you think? Do you also agree that the new content seems more flavourless and do you attribute that to Grandi's directing? [Link] |
