There was some discussion here about mysteriously opened packages a while back - anyone remember this?

One end of the bag was completely open (not a slight rip, it looks deliberate), so that the magazine could easily be taken out and put back in again - Are Customs likely to open items like this, and if so, would there be any indication that they had done so, and shouldn’t they re-seal the bag in some way? Or is this likely to be the result of a nosey postal service? TIA.
