I was just searching for information on a couple of Harmony Films titles and came across an AVN article about something called PAG. I closed the article now, so I don't know what the acronym stands for, but essentially, it means that after you pay for the dvd, you have to pay more to access bonus material like a bonus scene. WTF? That is bullshit. Too many people basically steal adult content already. Now companies are going to gouge the honest consumers who buy their product to make a few extra bucks. It seems Harmony Films will be instituting this on the UK release of Young Harlots In Detention and then will be trying in the US market in the future. I know lots of insiders read this site and take part, so I just would like to say, I understand that you are going through trying times with DVD sales drying up, but the answer is not to rape your loyal customers. Anyway, that's just my 2 cents.

Yeah I rented a movie that came out recently called "Luke's Bachelor Party". I thought Luke Skywalker was dead, so I had to check it out. It was EXTREMELY lame (except the parts with Trina Micheals, she's always great), and the bonus scenes were only accessible by calling a number and paying for a password. I was like, "are you fucking kidding me?!!"

I bought a magazine that advertised a Free DVD with the issue a year ago and when I dropped the DVD in, it played a trailer and gave me an 800# to call to pay to access the rest. Pissed me the fuck off, because the mag as $10 and worth about $5 without the free DVD.

Has anyone tried a PAG disc with a computer player. A player like VLC that lets you skip FBI warnings may also allow a jump to any part of the DVD you want. Just a thought.

That's a possibility, but to be forced to defeat the encoding and only watch on a computer is ridiculous. This was mentioned in reference to Harmony Films which of course are released by Evil Angel. EA titles average between $23 and $40. They're a great company and the discs are worth it, but are some of the most expensive in the industry and if this we're to be done, they want us to pay more. I'm calling bullshit on that. Moves like this are why so many people simply steal what they want. I'm sorry, but it's true.

I think it is absurd. One of the reasons is that I don't have a credit card (no debt either), I wouldn't have any way to buy the extra content over the phone anyway.

Old guy- thats the real Druuna. A character that appeared quite often in Heavy Metal magazine. She tended to wind up in a lot situations that required her ass [literaly] to escape. Sci Fi erotica.
