Passion-HD Warning - Copy.png

If you have or buy a Passion-HD subscription, do not click this link unless you want to be immediately charged $119. There isn't a confirmation window or anything, the charge is the instant you click. Also, there isn't much if any information on the website which explains what the $119 is for.

They use SegPay which are terrible to deal with.

the tactics you describe should be considered down right criminal to be honest. how is that not fraud if they charge you 119 dollars and don't even disclose what the charge is for? the onlly reason these companies get a way with it is because its for porn. is that a years worth of unlimited access to all their sites? 6 months? access to some of the network? downloads? i would be pissed off royally and be considering legal action.

I think it gets you access to all the sites for as long as you keep your Passion-HD membership. T THINK! I cannot find anywhere that spells that out and if you click the link, there is no confirmation, you are just charged. I just received a new credit card since my old one had reached its expiration date. I had not updated Passion-HD yet so the transaction was declined.

I also had a month to month "LIFETIME" PornPros subscription. They charged it weeks before the end date this month so it was declined. I had just activated my new card but had not input it yet to SegPay. I contacted support and their answer was I had to join all over again. Of course the deal I had is not available now.

SegPay is terrible. This is the second issue I have had this week related to the expiration date on my card. They are costing the companies selling the material money and customers.

Why are porn sites so difficult to do business with? Those of us who actually buy subscriptions are keeping them in business.

Am I stupid for actually paying for porn?

It 100% is fraud. It better not happen to me or I will take it right to a republican politician to use as an example to get that site banned lmao. I hate shit like this.

The porn business is like no other legal business that I can think of. The only comparisons are with illegal businesses, like gun and drug trafficking. With porn, you have a relatively small proportion of consumers who are willing to pay for what they get. A larger proportion of consumers are happy with just stealing it. So what do the producers do? They make things harder for that small proportion of paying consumers. Imagine how this model would work in any other business. Car theft from dealerships is rampant so the dealers put new punishing conditions on those who actually want to pay for a car. How long would the dealers last?

I hope that porn companies that don't treat their paying customers badly can have some influence over those that do. I can see smaller independent companies being willing to get in for a quick buck and who have no scruples not caring about their paying customers, but Passion HD has been around a long time and is affiliated with a larger network, though I forget which (is it Porn Pros?).

I'm not shilling for Gamma Entertainment, but I've never been burned by them. One thing I like is that on all their sign-up pages they are 100% transparent about the various memberships they offer. That's important to me because I want downloads and I want to know if downloads are included or if they can be added, and at what cost. Gamma gives me a clear menu of options.

But the reason I mention Gamma in the context of this thread is that I recently rejoined Adult Time, one of Gamma's flagship networks. I was browsing through the Lethal Hardcore channel and there was an offer to join LH at a discounted price. I hesitated, but given that the price was reasonable and that I would consider rejoining LH, I clicked on it. I was pleasantly surprised when a confirmation box popped up rather than a notice that I had signed up and my card had been charged. This is what every company should do.

Last thing. What happened to che123 at Passion HD happened to me at Bang Bros, so be careful there too. I don't trust Bang Bros any longer and haven't rejoined since. I'm an active porn buyer and haven't been back to Bang Bros is probably eight years. So for the sake of scamming me out of $30, Bang Bros lost a regular customer, and one who will never be back.

Back to my main point: sex is viewed as a crime, and shady companies know this. No consumer advocacy group or politician will go near this issue.

I hope this works out for you, che123, but I don't have high hopes.

I don't want to derail this thread, but your thought of taking this to a Republican politician might not work as planned. The party's manifesto, Project 2025, isn't exactly warm and fuzzy on this hobby we all share here. Here's a copy-and-paste (I've added the emphasis]:

Pornography, manifested today in the omnipresent propagation of transgender
ideology and sexualization of children, for instance, is not a political Gordian knot
inextricably binding up disparate claims about free speech, property rights, sexual
liberation, and child welfare. It has no claim to First Amendment protection. Its
purveyors are child predators and misogynistic exploiters of women. Their product
is as addictive as any illicit drug and as psychologically destructive as any crime.
Pornography should be outlawed. The people who produce and distribute it should
be imprisoned.
Educators and public librarians who purvey it should be classed
as registered sex offenders. And telecommunications and technology firms that
facilitate its spread should be shuttered.

I don't think you'd find a sympathetic ear in any Republican.

As I explained in another thread, I had problems with BangBros but they actually did better at support than SegPay, PornPros.

I still have access to PornPros until the date my subscription expires. Since they charged my old card before I could update my card information and they made the charge weeks in advance, my card was declined. The only answer they could come with is to sign up again. Then I lose my deal. I have received so many support emails that are worthless. The last solution they offered is to contact the company. The support is awful.

As far as accidentally clicking a link and getting charged immediately without any confirmation is just wrong. If it was any other product this would be all over BBB and the state Attorneys General would be involved. Those of us who pay finanially support the industry and we are treated like garbage.

It is almost impossible to update credit card information on any site. Terrible!

One other note, the streaming / download experience on PornPros has become terrible. I do not know if they are throttling but videos buffer and downloads can take hours.

^ Thanks for giving us these updates. It's unfortunate that you have to go through this with PornPros, but I know I'm not alone in being grateful that you're telling us here. Knowing that there are downloading and streaming issues means I won't be back. I did like a couple of their sites, most notably Holed. But I won't be back.

i have been tempted to join for lubed \ holed as i was a member of those in the very beginning and have about a decade worth of content to catch up on. i am hesitant now and prob. will not. although i am still a member of stripper 4k which i got down to about 8 dollars a month. i believe that is part of the porn pros\holed \ lubed network? stripper only updates about twice a month however but for 8 dollars and having a very big strip club fetish i have just left it be.

My PornPros subscription expired yesterday. There was a popup offering to renew at almost double the price. That is not going to happen. SegPay gave me a link to contact. They never replied. I contacted support TWICE to update my credit card for Nubiles. They never responded.

That is more money back in my pocket.

I am going to find a way to report the "Platinum Access" scam. Charging a credit card just by clicking a link without knowing what is being purchased or even the price should be illegal.

So many sites use the "4k" branding, it is hard to know which ones are related.

I ended up falling victim to this same thing haha. Did you ever manage to get it resolved or did the $119 just disappear in the void? Also I'm looking to cancel my membership because of this gimmick but using their self service website, I'm not sure if my cancellation actually went through. What were the steps you did to end up cancelling?

I am only just now seeing this.

I am well aware. What you are talking about is exactly the animosity toward porn that I would be trying to use to hurt the thieving site.

I hate porn people who take being in a controversial business as an excuse to be generally shitty (i.e. most of the companies and males) almost as much as I hate "conservatives."

Damn, that's shady. There should at least be a confirmation popup before charging people. Appreciate the warning, I probably would have clicked it without thinking twice.
