hey there. is it just me or does '3rd degree'-director and performer danny case bear a striking resemblance to pat myne? they wouldn't happen to be the same person? anyone got the lowdown?
The reason why I use both Danny Case and Pat Myne is because I signed an exclusive directing agreement with Metro under the name Pat Myne which I am still under contract until August 2005. Therefore, I cannot direct under the name Pat Myne with anyone other than Metro. Thus, I created the name Danny Case. I now have an exclusive distribution deal with 3rd Degree under the name Danny Case where I own my movies. I hope this clears things up for you guys. Let me know if you have any other questions.
skronker, most people call me Pat because that's been my name since I started porn.
nwnzocker, the deal with Metro was an exclusive directing deal that I made with them under the name Pat Myne. However, I decided that it was time to own my movies and have them distributed. Metro didn't have a deal in place so I signed a deal with 3rd Degree with Metro's approval. Out of loyalty for Metro, I agreed to not use the directing name Pat Myne until my contract was up. Hope that clears it up.
thanks for clearing that up pat, if I may ask an off topic question for a moment, do you know if gina ryder or holly hollywood are still making movies? I just wanted to ask you because they were in your recent fuxion movies . thanks!
yeah, thanks a bunch, nice to have the man himself clearing things up. good luck with '3rd degree', you guys have been releasing some pretty cool stuff lately! cheers.
Well, since Pat and Danny release more movies than just Pat, as long as the quality stays as high as it has with his movies I don't care!!!!! Also, I have to give Pat credit for getting Metro's blessings on the 3D deal. It sounds like it was mutual between Pat / Danny, Metro / FusXion, and 3rd Degree to have the contracts signed that way, so although it's a bit confusing to some fans, it appears to have been handled very well.

Bill, people don't sign contracts with their pseudonyms. They sign them with their real name. However, the pseudonyms are mentioned and are part of the contract because thats their persona in the biz. It's an identity that people reckognize them as. That's why the contracts usually lock up the pseudonym for the duration of the contract. Some stars are not that lucky. Take Jesse Jane. Digital Playground created and copywrote the name before they signed her. Obviously, that decision had a lot to do with the whole Tera Patrick drama. If Jesse was ever to leave D.P. she's screwed because she won't be able to use that name anymore because they own it. Pat Myne, though, will be able to use Pat Myne as a director name with other companies once his contract is up with Metro if he so choses to.
