| movieguy New Member Canada 5 Posts 8/04 | Posted - Mar 5 2005 : 9:00PM None of the AVSes "stream" movies, although the individual sites have the option of streaming their own content (not that of the AVS), although this is rare since these networks are comprised of "mom-and-pop" sites unable to afford purchasing licenses. Although the idea of accessing hundreds of sites for a small price may sound attractive, the reality is these sites all use the same content due to the centralized licensed content, and finding one big site that offers all the movies on the network is all you really need. An example is APA on JANS mentioned by CG Gurl. Only a very small number of sites offer any unique content different from the network-licensed movies (APA being an example again). Be wary that many of the asian sites on these networks featuring Japanese porn, provide unlicensed content. As a webmaster on one of these network, I honestly don't see the point in having all these small websites anymore. They should just have everything in one big mega site, and give webmasters gallery accounts. This is much more effective. Videoz.com is an example - I believe they are owned by deluxepass. [Link] |
