IR is one of my favorite themes these days along with Lolita types. Judging from my local video store in Dallas, IR seems to be selling quite well. The running line on Howard Stern along with guest Jenna Jameson and others was that IR lowered a girls worth and therefore I would assume they got paid less for IR scenes. Porno stars rarely discuss prices. Would be interested if we get a professional answer to the question at hand. Wayne In Dallas

Making a movie portraying the black men as gang members and the white girls as victims is bullshit in the first place but that basic theme is what seems to drive IR.

I disagree, sure that kinda porn is out there, but I just like white women who love black men. It's no different than MILF, Married and any other genre. I don't think many companies will allow an actress to ask for more creds for IR, ifshe doesn't wanna do it, then it'll be obvious in her acting, n thus make the film less valuable.
Very few actresses mention their paychecks (unless tis to gloat or make a joke) so only the enlightenment of the professionals working here will tell us.

You make a point (Ironically enough for someone who never did IR) At the same time I bet Janine got top dollar for her IR work as well as any other career IR dodger that does her 1st IR. Like it or not, it would be the same for the 1st anal and my guess is most girls don't like doing that either, but either grow to like/accept it or enjoy the check.

There are probably scenarios like this on every shoot. For example, girls will have for "size" issues, some will do it for a fake sites, while others just won't do it unless the money's right from this to this! Some members of the adult industry perpetuate this situation.

Well fundamentally to be paid more for a scene just because the race of the talent changes is completely absurd, as anyone can see.
As to the root cause of why this is so it is quite obvious when one notes that it's only black/white scenes that are classified as IR not any other permutation of racial groups.
Now on the issue of those who get upset that a particular woman won't do males of their color well that's just a logical consequence of the fact that men want to see women with guys that look like themselves, even superficially. This is to be expected and not at all surprising.
And I agree, the IR classification is an inane concept, but I would disagree with the statements that it sells that well or that women profit from it to a greater degree than white/white scenes because if either one was true we would see far more women involved with it than we do currently.

Hell, maybe everybody who stars in IR porn should be paid more. I find that I generally enjoy interracial porn MUCH more. It seems to me that the white girls that do interacial really, really get into it and get off, the guys usually really know how to fuck and the scenes are often longer with more good old fashioned fucking. I haven't really seen a bad IR title yet. I've seen some with a few week scenes but there's almost always one killer scene in every IR flick.
