Can someone pay money to my Paypal account with a card if they don't have a Paypal account?
Thanks for any help.

Yes, I think they can but you need to have a Paypal account that has been verified. There's a section in their help area about this. You may need to send them a money request. I forget how it works but it can be done.

When I used a Paypal account, I was appalled by the user agreement, so I took steps to limit how much damage they could do. For one thing, I opened a separate bank account for Paypal that never had too much money in it. I wanted to make sure that a typo or a malicious act could not empty my "real" bank account and maybe take the money I needed for property tax or something important at a really bad time.

PayPal has never done anything with my bank account. Been using PayPal for 8 years. And early on before I had their debit card I would take the monthly max out allowed without having my social security #. Something I have never given them.
My argument against PayPal is how Ebay forces sellers to use them so the Government can track us if we make enough to have to file from them. Something I have never done. I think it's over $9000 but don't hold me to that. I have made $6000+ in one calendar year on Ebay, and PayPal never sent me a W4.
I use to take Postal money Orders only for domestic sales, and only use PayPal for International sales.
If you are making 20 Grand+ a year you need to incorporate for Ebay. It will save you a boatload come tax time.

^ I'd like to discuss incorporating. Do you know people who have done it?
