Im a big Jill kelly fan, and wish her nothing but the best. but when i saw this, it made me as mad as hell. something is wrong when a person gets their name taken. look at this.
Her name isn't taken - her stage name was. Since stage names are valuable for name recognition, it was a silly oversight on her part and her lawyer's for not having itemized exactly what was bought and sold.

Oh God! This is hilarious!! Am I the only one that sees the humor in this?
Personally, I think Jill ought to go with a new stage name anyway. She could do a whole PR/marketing campaign around it.
These entertainment industry contracts and negotiations can get pretty cutthroat and bizarre.
Many are the musicians who were surprised to find out they'd lost their names or their own songs or their identity, or all the above to record companies and music industry conglomerates.
I think it was John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival about 25 years ago that couldn't perform his own songs that he'd written, and couldn't use his own real name professionally, while he was fighting with his record company over who owned what.

I'm not a legal expert but it seems that Jill just received a favorable ruling from the judge who according to AVN issued an injunction that prevents both parties from using the name. It seems that Jill may be able to retain her name at least as far running her websites go. And it appears that she is backed by Playboy on this maybe she will get that name back after all.
I hope Jill fights this all the way. she has been through so much the last few years. everytime you turn around she is in court. i wish her the best. she wants to keep her stage name Jill kelly. what the heck is wrong with that?
