Most internet service providers measure data in bits. Bytes is abbreviated 'B' (uppercase B); bits is abbreviated 'b' (lowercase b). 1 Byte = 8 bits therefore 750KBps (750 KiloBytes per Second) = 6 Mbps (6 MegaBits per second) This may or may not be relevant to your post.
