if we start with one hundred girls who start work in local strip clubs as dancers, what percentage of them (on average) will move higher up the ladder to doing magazine softcore layouts?

Of those, how many (on average) will go on to hardcore layouts?

Of those, how many (again, on average) will go into videos?

Of the magazine layouts we see, what percentage are really just stills taken during a video session?

I'm sure it has a lot to do with the area of the country one is dancing. I think here in Indiana, if you started out with 500 dancers in strip clubs, you would be lucky to have one that ends up in video.

I'd bet that, not only does it depend on where in the country someone dances, it also depends on the type of club that they work.

There are lots of local strip clubs that never bring feature dancers/porn stars in to dance at that club. I think that girls who dance at these clubs are less likely to move on to magazines and porn than the girls who work at the clubs that have feature dancers.

I have read/heard many interviews where porn stars say that they got into the business after talking to porn star/feature dancers at the club that they work. Often they get into the business so they can become feature dancers themself.

In America, there must be thousands - if not tens of thousands - of strippers at any one time.
Less than 1 in 100 go on to softcore photoshoots, much less hardcore in video or pictures.

Yeah, I'm with croy. Less than 1 in 100. That number might vary by area/region, but overall dancers in the country it's an itty bitty percentage.
