Performers 2012 is a bit of a disappointment. Jynx Maze, Jada Stevens, Holly Michaels, and/or London Keyes could easily have fit into this DVD. EA always uses the same five girls, it's SO BORING and REPETITIVE. I used to think Bobbi Starr was the hottest slut ever but what exactly has she done this year to deserve to be in this dvd? She's not a hot new star, she doesn't deserve it. She's been in Performers 2009 and 2010. She was in Prison Girls (lesbian scene), Bush, and Gangbanged. Not exactly revolutionary...especially for a performer who's done it all basically. And why is Lexi Belle in this? Why does EA have such an erection for her and Starr? Belle was in Cuties 2, Bombshells 3 and Massive Facials 4....THAT'S IT. How does that warrant Performer of the Year status? She shouldn't even be on the cover, I can't imagine she's a huge draw. Never found her that attractive, just cute. And is it just me or has she lost weight? Rose was in Bush, Hard Bodies, Party Girls, and Seduction. Kristina Rose can be on the cover for Seduction where she looked sexy as hell but I wish they kept her off of the cover for Performers of the Year 2012. She's been on the cover for the past three years, and she didn't do much this year at all. A few pretty standard scenes, nothing to warrant another spot in Performers. Also, she's lost weight as well. I figured they would put Kagney on there since she actually did some new things, although her performances still lack passion/fire. IMO of course. Jayden Jaymes did do Gangbanged, which is a step for her. Still, didn't think it was enough to warrant another spot on this dvd. Gracie is a good performer but again, I have no idea why she is so loved by EA. She deserves to be in this dvd one more time but I don't know about next year. She needs to step up her game for that. Asa is awesome and deserves to be named Performer of the Year since Elegant Angel got so much out of her. She should be promoted while possible, a hell of a performer. Awful choices this year, three of the girls do not deserve to be in this DVD. I'm surprised they didn't put Tori Black in this with an unreleased scene, even though she's done absolutely nothing for the past year. Also just realized that Eva Angelina, Rachel Starr and Nikki Sexx have never been in Performers either. EA used all three in 2010 yet they weren't included for POTY 2011. Bizarre...I can't imagine none of them being a draw. Please put Jynx Maze, Jada Stevens, Holly Michaels or Leilani Leanne on there next year, these girls are the future and did great work this year. What a missed opportunity. It's a shame. You should open your eyes EA. Yeesh. Oh and for everyone who says "If you don't like it, don't watch it," don't worry, I'm not going to buy this one. Fans at the EA site don't vote on these, do they? It's just a couple of guys sitting around at the office one day saying okay, her, her, her and her. I do like the cover a whole lot. Topless in jeans? Nice! There are a few extra scenes, maybe 4, on the second disc, which they call "honorable mentions", and I don't see them credited at the shopping links, but I swear at least one of them was a Jynx or a Jada. Gracie hasn't done enough anal to be considered one of the best to me,, you can't be called performer of the year unless you did all of the dirtier stuff but who is to decide anyways ? some dude(s)... same for AVN awards. a load of crap if you ask me. who is to say that this girl performs better than that girl ? or that this scene is better than this one ? i find it extremely disrespectful to other amazing talents who poured their heart and soul into their work over the year... porn is so general - you can't please everyone and there is always gonna be something for everybody to prefer. i find this award concept stupid - it's just a way for avn to generate some money.... problem is those girls take this shit seriously and really end up disappointed when they see other girls winning it's ultimately bad for their ego, confidence thus for their performances and careers. they should encourage each other instead of encouraging an award/ranking system that being said - if Asa wins performer of the year it would make sense....
