I was reading through the Kasey Chase thread (who I think is absolutely gorgeous btw) and was wondering about something. These girls are YOUNG. Some of them barely out of high school and quite possibly still living with parents, or perhaps with a bf. Anyway, I am a bit curious as to why we don't hear much about what bad things sometimes happen to these girls as a result of them going into porn. This isn't about getting my rocks off, it is a genuine curiosity. Nothing is hidden when you see these performers on tape. Their face is out there in plain view and they could be easily recognized if their family, friends, acquaintances or employer happened to recognize them. We also hear about new stars quickly disappearing (ie. back to normal life) or the odd disgruntled bf following them into the ADT forums. I can't help but wonder what happened to them after. Did life carry on as normal for them? Are there no consequences for these young girls doing porn? Anyone have some actual stories to share? And please no flames or snippy remarks. I am not a troll. I am really wondering about this. Thanks in advance for any insight. :)
The consequences are the same for anyone who works in front of the camera. Sometimes it ends well, sometimes... not so much. However, the good news is that even though they're young, they're considered adults and being an adult affords them opportunities to live and learn from their mistakes. There are 18 year old people going overseas in the military and having to kill people. I would think that would have a more serious affect on one's psyche than having sex on film. I'm sure, for the most part, an 18 year old females parents aren't thrilled about their daughter doing porn... but I don't think "most" are disowned because of it. I have my box of horror stories from performers I worked with... but that's life. Who's life is perfect, anyway? We all do things we would eventually regret. It's just part of finding one's self... I wish the girl's who did porn could all acclimate back into normal society, but that's not always the case. Thanks for the reply! Can you share a couple of these performer stories you mention? I mean, not in any great detail, but just on what happened to them after it became known they performed in porn. With all the actresses on this forum I am surprised this thread isn't filled with stories. :)
One of the stories that I remember is one night, years ago, I started getting a flood of sign-ups to my site from one city. A flood of like 10-15 new joins came rushing in within a 10 minute period, then more throughout the night. I knew something was up. It turns out that a girl I filmed was exposed at the college she was attending and everyone wanted to see her porn video. I later found out that assholes were posting pictures and info about her on those little clipboard areas in the hallways of colleges, etc... She was humiliated and ended up moving. It sucks that it happened to her... she was a nice girl, gorgeous too.

I'd imagine it's because, if there were actual bad things happening, they don't really feel the need to come here and keep us updated as it's really not our business.
I am a bit surprised we haven't heard many stories from the performers themselves. I'm thinking of the star crossed section of this forum, which has user IDs of porn star names. Surely some of those individuals would have lots of stories to share with us? They've shared everything else, I am surprised this topic seems so secretive. Are those screen names actually porn stars or just hired hands??
Yes, that sounds very believable. Of course, why couldn't this happen with conventional porn? I mean, anyone who downloads online or rents a DVD can see their faces and bodies, so the story above should be happening all the time as people recognize these faces in movies. No?

I don't like performers under 20. Those girls are at big risks of getting addicted to drugs, being forced into things by wierdo producers. Besides I think that 18 years old women isn't hot, they haven't got any curves. I like more experienced women like e.g Dana DeArmond, Asa Akira

Posttraumatic stress disorder and depression is another big risk for young girls :(
