And, just like straight guys have their favorite female performers, many of us like to see certain guys. It's very annoying when the neither the box cover, nor the rental website, nor the video itself, identifies the male performers. I've noticed this in at least half of the videos I've seen lately, and it seems to vary on a studio-by-studio basis. If any studio types are out there-- how much extra work would be involved in consistently identifying the male performers in all of your videos? [Link] |

Sadly, especially for someone as straight as me, I have become quite adept at it. Also, some performers tend to work with certain directors and companies consistently, so that is also a clue. You usually know what tone a scene will have if one guy is in it instead of another. Some guys are really aggressive and rough, and others are more sensual and erotic. Depending on my mood, I could watch either one, so knowing who's in the cast sure helps me decide what to get. [Link] |

I like some of the older titles because I barely know one girl from another.
