traderhtc Member 199 Posts 6/02	Posted - Aug 5 2002 : 10:46AM This is for all Adult DVD manufacturers, but Ana/Diabolic and Red Light in particular: PUT A CHAPTER STOP RIGHT AS THE END CREDITS BEGIN!!! Normally, I wouldn't even be writing about this, except that usually the best scene is saved for last. There's no more annoying way to get to the climax than fast forwarding 16 minutes from the beginning of the final scene rather than just having to rewind two or three minutes from the end of the scene (cum shot). Although I haven't seen the Barely Legal/Grrl Power series that Ultradamno refers to, I suspect that the Specs Appeal format is similar, and it's easily one of the best menu layouts I've seen to date. Click to expand I must be the only oddball here, but I hated the way the Mr. Beaver's were chaptered. When I would push the skip forward button, expecting the next scene, I would wind up in the next chapter (which was part of the same scene). It would take 4 button pushes to skip forward. On the other hand, if I pushed the menu button to directly select, I would have to wait for their animated menu to finish it's shenanigans before I could select "scenes", and then wait again before I could select the particular scene. What a pain! No, I don't want other companies emulating Hustler. [Link]

I love their DVDs but why do they put chapter stops at random locations? I like Hustlers layout, simple, about 4 - 6 chapters, if I remember right. One chapter is for setup, three or four for sex, and one for the cumshot. Great layout. But of course with some DVDs more is better such as Evil Angel, I've put some chapters on repeat, just to watch more of something hot, over and over and over and... I actually missed a great scene once when I wanted to skip the credits (forgot which movie), but ended up skipping the first scene. I went back and watched it, but not until I looked at the time display. ---BIGmike, over & out!--- [Link]
