That is the message showing up for me in the spots where practically every photo that anyone has posted in any thread today should be.

I had to revert to a previous database backup. Some data was lost.

I know, and it disturbs me. Next it'll be ass gravy, Russian peasant girl enemas, and tanks.

They weren't deleted. The record of their presence has been lost. We didn't delete them.
We had a database problem recently and had to restore one of the databases from a backup that was a little over 24 hours old. (ADT is split over multiple databases on the server.) Any data added to that database site since the backup has been lost.
The forum database was not impacted so the posts that reference the images are still there. However, they reference image names that do not exist in the other database. Since the database records related to those files are gone our server displays a graphic to show that the image is missing. Note that the placeholder image states "Image Not Found". That's different than "Image Deleted". (If we delete an image it will say "Image Deleted".)
There are a few different conditions that would result in an "Image Not Found". A database inconsistency is one of them.

It's interesting that it held the image size where it displays "not found". Should the images be re-uploaded or how's that work?
I sense a hand from beyond the grave wiped these images, as I posted some pictures of dead people.

The image dimensions are stored as part of the post. The forum posts and the image data are stored separately in different database. That's how the dimensions end up retained in one place while the records that are actually used to send the image to your browser are lost.
Yes, but the posts or reviews referencing those images also have to be updated to use the new file names.

Ok I have to decide if I reload. I think the Jenna Haze pics are a no-brainer- back up they should go.
