| Drew Black broken crankshaft 8009 Posts 9/99 | Posted - Jan 18 2021 : 6:19AM Many years ago, we used to review every image that was uploaded to be sure they complied with the Acceptable Image Policy. Then we got sued for Copyright infringement. This review process was troublesome because it could be argued by fancy lawyers that we were "aware" of the infringement because the review. For various reasons we stopped reviewing images but all of the review/approval code still exists. I'm working on the new site with the live data of the current site. This was an instance where that development process proved to be a bad idea. [Link] |
