I really prefer a girl with no tats. Piercings aren't quite as distracting. But when the tat is of low quality AND is poorly placed, it's just a real shame...especially if it's on an otherwise really pretty girl. I have seen really stunning tats and some that aren't as offensive. For example, I saw one girl with a small dolphin and I thought that was really cute.

Some tats are just ugly to me. I guess I'm not attracted to biker chicks so anything that has a kind of rough, tough, biker chick quality to it just isn't my cup of tea at all. If it's a nice little feminine sort of tat, I can sometimes get into it. But it should at least be done by someone who knows what they're doing. A tat isn't something you can afford to have a fly by night "artist" do.

But in the end, a chick who has a really large, flashy tat is screaming "LOOK AT MY TAT!" instead of "Look how cute and sexy I am". I don't get it, really. Why a pretty girl would do that to herself.

Tongue Splitting...My vote is no. I love your tongue the way it is, especially when there is something on it! But, I am all about self expression, so if it makes you happy do it. Just remember your body is a business right now and needs to be marketable. Who knows? You may lose some fans by doing it but gain a whole new audience.

well, getting yout tongue pierced is one thing, getting it split something else. Either way remember you can not put it aside to heal. When i had my tongue pierced i could only "eat" liquids for 5 days. After that it didn´t hurt to eat anymore. I think a split tongue needs way more time ... thus ... having "normal" meals less fun. I took it out after 10 years because i was getting sick about loosing the "screw ball" (and probably swallowing it for the million time) again and again
